Yay! Will be interesting to hear which day is the wedding, because I'm getting married in May 2011 so around the same time, too.

I never thought Prince William would be faster than me to get married - but he is!

I'm curious if she will get rid off the nickname Kate and will be called Catherine from now on? I can imagine that the tabloids will still call her "Princess Kate", but let's see.

hink it will be Catherine, she may hate being called that but as it is her formal name she will be called it, nick names in the royal family are more private like Maxima who calles W-A, Alexander in privte

I know it's off topic but Alexander isn't his nickname, just a part of his name. Catharina Amalia is also called Amalia in the family.
Isn't her official name will be HRH Princess William of Wales?

In TV they said that William and Kate won't receive a (new) title until they're married. I don't know if it's true.

Any titles will be granted at the time of the wedding. I think W&K will be created Duke and Duchess.

Wills and Kate will give their first interview together to ITV News's political editor Tom Bradby, an old friend of the Prince, which will be broadcast at 7pm.

Andrew got his Dukedom and Edward his Earldom on their respective wedding days. Prince Philip who was plain Philip Mountbatten got his Dukedom on his weddding day.

Whatever title William gets, he'll get it on his wedding day, the announcement will come then not at the engagement.
