I think the media and others should calm down. William is just taking a 10 week course. I don't think anyone can call him a full-time student at Cambridge.

I'm glad they've spoken up about taking all those pictures of Wills. The Tab is basically urging students to harass another student and that should not be tolerated. Its bullying at its worse.

There is an exsiting Earl of St Andrews, else that option would have been most plausible at the time of his wedding.

This is a student newspaper, it's hardly main stream knowledge, next week when freshers starts again, William will be forgotten.

Unfortunate that 5 days after the initial furor, and after the press pointed out to Mr. Heilpirn(sp?) that it was harassment to urge fellow students to do this (and asking him how he'd feel if someone did this to him) and his seeming to backtrack w/ saying it wasn't decided yet - he's tweeted to follow the blog following P. William. I guess the philosophy major liked his moment of fame and now wants to extend it.

Will William arrive one morning out of breath, coffee in hand and begging for a Number 2 pencil and a blue book?

I find it strange that William isn't carrying anything (briefcase or something to hold information or paperwork). In the Daily Mail photos, there appears to be a man behind him carrying a back pack. I'm glad he's continuing his education, though, and can't quite understand why the brouhaha over an executive education course. Most universities offer something similar and it's based on ability to pay rather than prior academic achievement.

Future Roles of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge

Charles has a thread to discuss his future reign, so William deserves one too.

What is William likely to be like as King? Will he take after his father or grandmother?

Wow, we'll discuss now the reign of King William V! I think it'll be a very interesting discussion, but I also think he'll not reign for another 25-30 years.

About his reign, I think he'll take a lot after his grandmother, but he'll also take a lot after his father. But he'll introduce a much of his own style into the Monarchy.

Now, I wonder how long it'll take until we have "The Monarchy under George" thread.

Bit to far into the future to predict. This thread should really wait for Charles reign to begin to even speculate the reign of King William.
