William not going to military tournament tonight isn't that suprising. Out of the 2 events this weekend, the centerpoint one is on a higher level since William is the patron. The Duke of Kent is also going to tonights event.
I'm not believing anything about William's military career until SJP annouces it. I find the Household Calvary thing hard to believe, because he left in the first place to join the RAF because he couldn't be deployed. Why go back? What is going to do ? A desk job? Ride along the carriages?
His time would be better spent doing royal duties. Plus the more and more, they do, I would think the demand for them would die down a little. Right, now since they don't do that many, every time they do one -it a big deal media wise. But if they are doing this 3 or 4 times a week , it becomes rountine news. (for William at least- Kate will still be hounded until the baby comes)

Indeed very true!
Agree here too. I think Wills has an internal sensor of some sort that allows him to sense what the person he's talking to is feeling, because he's always spot on with his reactions.

And I think you're spot- on with that statement! He must have!
And I think the few other people in the world who possess similar gifts to William ( and you know who I mean- ) must have them too. It is part of what makes them so special.

exactly and that's why I'm sick of these articles stating otherwise. Doesn't seem like he's made a decision and if he has he probably isn't ready to announce it to the world.

That said, I think William understands the leverage he and his own family get by having another job that restricts him. Having lived through his parent's unhappiness, split and divorce as a young person he understands the pressure of the press added to an unhappy situation. And, I think he understands the only control over the press one has is to limit their opportunities.
One would never guess that a preventative stay in hospital would become a huge source of inadvertent tragedy due to some publicity hungry jokers - but there it is. Their memory will forever bear witness to what happened. If I were either of them I would loath the popular media at this point.
I have no idea what decision the couple will reach about work in the future. I just think it is wrong to assume that "granny needs help" is a bigger pull than "I need to raise my kids with some balance and control between public and private life."
Charles and Diana wanted a better balanced life for their children just as William and Kate want a great life for their kids. If the vagaries of the media preclude that, it helps me understand why William might stay in the armed forces.
Sorry if any of that sounded preachy - I just had thought a lot about this lately.

I think it makes sense in the wake of the media frenzy around the Duchess's hospitalization that William would want to avoid the press more than ever for his family and himself.

tbh they seem happy in Anglesey so I wouldn't mind if they stayed there and William continued doing what he's doing but the thing is I dunno what in the heck to believe anymore as DM yesterday reported he has not made a decision and has been given more time while Telegraph is saying he's going to stay in the RAF

She's the general manager of the cinema. She greeted him on his arrival and escorted him down the carpet.

He looks tired. And he's due back at work. They need some help.
