“Jeff, it was such fun working with you under the master that is Rankin. Thank you Rankin, especially for the mop of black hair,” he said in his speech.

(His reference to his black hair in the picture is funny. )

That's amazing that the diptych portrait went for that much! Good on them!

William is President of the FA Cup right??? And thanks for the pictures! They are great! I forgot that the FA Cup was on today and now I am going to have to record it when FSC replays it again so that I can see if I can see William :)!

William is the president of England’s Football Association governing body

Here are some more pics focussing on the second event, the Football
Association (FA) Respect and Fair Play Awards, that also took place
at the Wembley Stadium.

Fortunately for those not interested in football (by which I assume you mean soccer as football to me is a range of games including
Rugby, Rugby League and Australian Rules) there are other things listed as well such as playgrounds for children.

This area has been a passion of Philip's for well over 60 years and I notice that they made a comment at the end that the 30 year old Philip is remarkably similar in appearance to William (something I have been saying for years - I have always seen Philip as the dominant look in William).

Yes I meant what you would call Soccer, the article also mentions William following in the footsteps of his great great grandfather, who set up the first national playing field scheme.

Prince William recruited to raise funds for First World War centenary exhibition - Telegraph

Prince William will play a key role in Britain’s commemoration of the centenary of the First World War after being recruited as Patron of a new charity that will raise funds for a major exhibition.

The Prince will front the Imperial War Museum Foundation, which has been set up to establish new galleries at the museum in London that will open in the summer of 2014.

Prince William is an old hand at raising the profile of the "homeless" issue: his mum took him to "cardboard city" in London, and he followed up by sleeping there himself.

Now he's going a step further by lending his face to the street paper sellers:
