Look for arrivals from Singapore - they were transiting via there from Brisbane.

Singapore airlines has several flights from Brisbane to London, ranging from a 24+ hr. flight to 50+ hrs flights.
Can't imagine 50+ hours in transit - I've done 24, and that was brutal.

Perhaps the only alternative thing to wear to avoid gusts blowing up skirts is to wear pencil skirts.

The ones I found at Heathrow and again I imagine they'd land in Heathrow were either just from Singapore or from Sydney via Singapore least that's how it's written nothing from Singapore via Brisbane. I'm not certain they're going to land in Heathrow but Gatwick doesn't have any flights from Singapore today least I don't think maybe I missed them, I went through the list really fast and I believe they landed at Heathrow with the last tour as well. So that's why I basically assumed.:flowers:

Here's the live updates for flights from Singapore

That's a lovely picture and Kate looks very nice.

Thank you for sharing your pictures! They're lovely. You're indeed quite lucky to have been able to get that close to the Duke and Duchess.

I just viewed the doc William & Kate: The South Seas Tour and I truly enjoyed it. They really amde sure to highlight the courage and strength the Duke & Duchess showed throughout the tour.

Everybody was very excited and happy to welcome William & Catherine on this tour. The children were very excited and the people took a great deal of time to prepare for the royal visit. I think the whole Diamond Jubilee Tour was a total success.

Agreed - this show was lovely and had a nice balance between video of the Cambridges and back-stories. They seem a remarkable pair and that showed in the video. While it painted a rosy picture of the trip. it omitted nothing and so was a fair treatment overall. I'd love to see polls from The Solomon Isles, Singapore, Tuvalu and Malaysia about what they thought of the hubbub in France. None of them seemed to care a bit and maybe we can learn from that.

Catherine's Speech

I searched this thread but found no discussion on Catherine's first tour speech.

Video

I just watched it and was very impressed. She looked at her notes a *lot* but she didn't get rattled ... just took her time and got it all out, albeit with a flow one expects from so much note looking.

I found it weirdly touching ... and thought it provided a lot of insight into her character. She's that particular type of British person who "just gets on with it" and I thought she seemed warm, natural, genuine and ... earnest. Yes, that's the word - she is an earnest woman.

She's the sort of partner William needed. I think they are going to prove out to be a rather formidable couple.

She made the speech in Malaysia, the speech discussion is in the thread for that visit. You'll find it in the royal family of Malaysia section.

D'Oh! A true Homer Simpson moment.

And that makes it all make sense :)

Thanks so much for your kindness.

Also Sky aired a special today on the tour I think it will be up on demand at some point soon not too sure if it will be viewable to those outside of the UK

As usual, great finds! Thank you for sharing.

This photo is one of the best I have ever seen of the Duchess. It's brilliant.
