Duke & Duchess of Cambridge: Visit to Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Tuvalu - 9/2012

If you have answers, please help by responding to the unanswered posts.
I think that picture of the Duke & Duchess toasting each other at the dinner is very beautiful.

Duchess of cambirdage looks so pretty and simple elegant in all Days , But i have one comment about white outfit it’s Nice But the The wedges shoes ruined the look , plus she’s tall good enough no need that much high heel ,and when she wore the wedges before with jeans was looks so nice but with very official outfit not so good choice , and the outfit would be look much better if with Black belt , But after all she looks so Beautiful & Chic
Thank you for posting .

I tend to not comment negatively on Catherine's clothes as I think she dresses well. However, I agree with sheikah deena in that the wedge shoes "ruined the look". She should have worn her nude shoes as they would have made the look so much classier than it was. The wedges she wore are too casual for the suit.

Thank u to whoever informed me about why most of the pix are from twitter. I don't have twitter and it's hard to pull them up on my iPod. The Duchess' ( really need to start calling her that all the time) hair looks lighter than usual, I must admit I prefer it dark. I think William needs to be given a break and they should allow him to wear some nice khakis and a loose shirt.

*DEAD*

How precious is this picture ? This couple will be amazing parents. Children love them.

georgina brewer ‏@Georginaitv #Kate, in echoes of Canada, put on an apron as she took part in an arts therapy class at a special needs centre http://pic.twitter.com/rcR1JQcG

I love when Catherine is in a 'teacher' mode. She looks so natural, just doing whatever the kids are doing. Too bad she can't do this kind of thing full time, because I think she would really enjoy it.

I have no words. But none are needed in this case.

The Duke and Duchess are now off to the airport and are about to leave Singapore and fly out to Malaysia. There they will have lunch with the PM and an early afternoon dinner with the King.

That makes 2 of us who have no words Daria. But I agree, none are needed. I love the one with the little princess. And Catherine and William should come to your class.:D

Oh, they definitely should! I'll be doing a whole week's worth of stuff dealing with 'today's princesses' with them, and I'm really thinking of using pictures and videos from this tour (especially those that involve interactions with children). I know that all five of the girls in my class would be in seventh heaven if they actually saw a real princess that wasn't associated with Disney movies.

Great idea!:D
Wow, I didn't know the unit was going to be a full week, I thought it was just going to be for Friday.
@ Daria-FYI- William and Kate will be visiting a child hospice in Malaysia later on today or tomorrow( it is Thurs. AM. thier time now, and they are going either Thurs.PM, or Friday AM- cannot remember now, but cannot wait for pics!);):D

It doesn't make sense to do it just for one day; too much stuff to cram into thirty minutes. Can't wait to see what magic will be going on at the hospice :D.

Well, I don't think there is anything in the least "solemn" about Catherine's ensemble and the addition of the parasol just adds to the "walking in the park" attitude.

Whilst the ensemble would be perfectly suitable for a private visit, Catherine looks far too casual when standing beside her husband during this formal engagement.

Are we looking at the same pictures? Kate's wearing a conservative dress in a very subdued colour. Her dress didn't have a deep v-neck that you were complaining about and she left the wedges that so offended you yesterday in her suitcase. What did you want her to wear?

I fail to see how anyone could take issue with a woman carrying a small, simple parasol to protect themselves from the strength of the sun in an incredibly hot and humid climate to which they are not accustomed. There is very little in the way of shade or cover in the cemetery. Would you have preferred that Kate fainted in the middle of viewing the graves? Or not viewed the graves at all and stayed under cover in her air-conditioned car perhaps?

I've seen some incredible posts on this forum, but to criticise someone for holding a parasol really takes the biscuit.

As the visit to Malaysia is to another monarchy,
discussion of the visit is in the appropriate thread in the
Royal Families of Malaysia
subforum.

I also wonder if someone gave her the parasol and she used it because it was a gift.
