Thanks, HereditaryPrincess :flowers:

What a load of nonsense.
All healthy children that age behave like they are the centre of the universe.

I do think he seemed at peace with a big room full of noise and new people - which is a talent at any age.

But sitting with his knees bent and soles of his feet together, at least to me, is only a sign that he has flexibility and good sense of balance.

AGENDA for SATURDAY, APRIL 12:
Kate and William begin the day with separate engagements in the town of Hamilton. Hamilton is located in the country’s Waikato region, on the North Island.
The Duke spends time at Pacific Aerospace, visiting the company’s factory
Kate will spend her time at Rainbow Place, a children’s hospice. She will meet children taking part in art therapy, as well as volunteers, nurses and family members.
After reconnecting, the couple journeys to Cambridge, a town located in the center of New Zealand’s agricultural heartland
The first stop will be at the Cambridge Memorial where they will pay their respects, and the Duke and Duchess enjoy the town’s central district
Travel to New Zealand’s brand new velodrome, William and Kate officially open the facility, known as the Avantidrome, meet some of New Zealand’s Olympic medalists, watch races and see a BMX exhibit

Keen, Keen, Keen New Zealanders.

Sunshine in the early morning TV crossovers from New Zealand this morning - Saturday 12th here.

Live interview done with one seventy-four year old lady who, with another lady, had taken up position on a bench last night at 8.00pm! - in order to be in the front row for today's walkabout by the Duke and Duchess.

Another group of ladies on air who had made very intricate costumes, and are dressed up as Monarch butterflies, hoping to catch the Royal's attention.

(We'll they've made it on to TV at least.)

More footage on Australian TV last night showing the huge crowds trying to get a glimpse at Auckland Harbour.

(One of the skippers said they tried to race close to the waterfront to give everyone a good view of W and C.)

A young girl said she heard the Duchess say "excuses, excuses" regarding the Duke being beaten in both of the races, when Prince William was talking about it.

Reports that the crowds are growing day by day as New Zealand embraces Royal fever.

Cheers, Sun Lion.

in my opinion, the rumours of this being a more "formal" tour, of W+K becoming more "senior" royals and of the wish of the queen of portraying kate in a more senior manner and as the mother of a future monarch are true. so far, everything reported has been true: the lower hemlines, the more strict protocol, kate using some of the queen's jewels (so far, she wore the fern brooch loaned by the queen)...
Well, we have no way of knowing what, if anything, HM said to W+K but I must point out that when they toured Canada Catherine wore HM's diamond maple leaf.

. . . What a load of nonsense.

You said it! Here (and possibly in Australia) we would call it either "a load of old cobblers" or just plain "Bullswool"! :D

RT @GovGeneralNZ The Duchess has arrived at Rainbow Place. #RoyalVisitNZ pic.twitter.com/o5lQHgrwfz

On meeting Will at Aerospace-
Joy Verissimo, wife of chairman Christopher Verissimo, was delighted to meet him as he arrived.

"He's such a wonderful person. So lovely and natural. It was lovely that he shook everyone's hand."

Kate heads in to private briefing-
Catherine has stepped out in a green Erdem coat with a Suzannah dress underneath.

After a brief wave to the crowd she has been taken to a private room for a briefing on the hospice.

Just spoke to a police officer who estimates there's a 10,000-strong crowd in Cambridge to see William and Kate here soon.

She's channeling Jackie Kennedy again...very much a Jackie style dress with a modern twist (zipper).

So much for the prediction that there would be no interest in this tour.

It's only barely begun and so far it's going wonderfully.

William and Kate have met dignitaries and have now gone into the town hall for a 15-minute lunch with locals.

Duke and Duchess enter Cambridge-
'Sirens can be heard as the Royal motorcade drives in, the couple waves to the crowd, who cheer and wave their flags. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will now do a meet and greet. The town was named for the second Duke of Cambridge back in the 1860s. This is the only second royal visit for the town of 18,000. During her 1953-54 tour, The Queen lunched at Cambridge and the museum has a small exhibition of her time in the town."

Catherine and William are both natural with children. They don't appear to be bothered by things such as germs, and being hugged. I truly never getvtired of seeing them with children. Each time is better than the last.

I can agree about them being naturals with children, and I truly never get tired of seeing them with children either. Each time is better than the last.
You don't think it's going to be, but it is.
Not surprising, considering the 2. people we are talking about.
What would be surprising is if each time wasn't better than last.

Bailey is so gorgeous. Confused though.
Does Bailey have terminal cancer? Or does her mom?
And if her mom does, why would they use the Children's hospice?
Wonderful that she met Kate. The reporter is right. That's what the tour is all about.
