Maybe its just me but I think there's too many fools out there (both men and women) that are all too eager to spew forth whatever they have on their mind without thinking and end up issuing apologies later and end up looking worse than when they started out.
Ahhh... now I got it. The press would be so much happier if Kate would say things off the wall that they could badly interpret and sell more papers.

What's the old saying? "Better to be silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and confirm it"?

You did not, that was the portrait unveiling with William but we didn't know William was attending until they arrived.

Someone needs to tell the Duchess that if she goes, or sends someone to Costco (or the British equivalent) to pickup a case of those cheese crackers and keep them on hand. Much cheaper than petro stations. I do like the idea that she gets out and buys them herself.

Somehow I do not think the D/DoC are having any financial woes - or maybe I am assuming too much.

Royal sources expect the Duchess of Cambridge to resume royal duties in February, probably towards the end of the month.

Sorry but you have no idea when we'll see her out and about nor if they'll even bother to announce engagements. A tweet said we might see her towards the end of February.

Well, her spokesman confirmed that she would be returning to public engagements in the near future, so....we know we'll see her some time in the near future.

I hope this also means we get that announcement of the new Patronages she's taking on. We were supposed to learn that too around now and it also had to be pushed back due to Kate being so sick IIRC.
Looking forward to seeing more of HRH next month and happy it seems the worst is over.

I am interested to see what new patronages she takes, but I almost think I'd rather see her do another round of visits related to her current patronages. Particularly Action on Addiction- I feel like she could do so much good with that particular patronage.
I think of all of them, EACH has been the one she's shown the most dedication to- which is lovely, since it is such a worthy organization.

Same here! It would be lovely to see her doing some visits related her current patronages!
I think EACH and the NPG are the ones she has been showing more dedication.
I would love to see her doing some more engagements related to Action on Addiction and the Art Room
