Congratulations for those who said the baby would be born today, 22nd!!!

Its morning in my country (it has the same time zone as the UK), so it wont be dificult to follow this labor and birth. I'm so excited now!!!!!!!!!!!

Depends on how fast she's progressing . Could also be tomorrow

My Mum took over 30 hours with my brother and he was her first but my sister-in-law took less that an hour with her first. Personally mine were about the same - between 10 hours and 10 hours 20 minutes each.

Yep first time babies can take ages my sister was in labour for 28 hours with her first so it could be a little leo. Good luck to Kate hope it doesn't take too long! Mostly because I'm in Oz and it's early evening here I would love to know before I go to bed or I will be taking my computer with me to check here every hour. LOL

About time. And of course i was away when the news broke (gutted).
Wishing a safe delivery to HRH.

So exciting! It's early evening here - I hope it is not too long so I know before bedtime. ♡

:ROFLMAO: I just realized... today is also my brothers birthday lol. Kind of sad... I'm always mixing it up with the 21st... but this should help me keep it straight from now on! lol

After a month of watching the Tour de France and the Ashes test I was looking forward to a normal night's sleep but one more night with the TV on will just have to suffice I suppose.

and we're off!!!!! hopefully wont be a long labour Im wiahing this as much for Kate as myself!

A bit excited now.....:D

Just got the news on my CNN App. I jumped out of my bed and turned on my computer. Guys, this is it.

Hopefully it won't be a long labor, It really depends on a lot,

Crown Princess Victoria was admitted to the hospital at 12:30am and gave birth four hours later at 4:26am

the Palace have also confirmed the baby was over one week late, keeping us all waiting the bookies must have made a fortune

This is so exciting, I hope it's a short labour and the baby is delivered safe and well.

One spends the early part of labour at home, usually; my own first-born arrived about four hours after my admission to a hospital an hour's drive from home.

I really hope William will do a prince Frederick and come down and announce the birth. It was also so sweet to hear it that way!

Same!

Although, I will say, although it is not all that common -women do have long labors! My friend was in labor for three days!!! Yikes...

I'm so exited that I was able to catch the news before official confirmation. I had been fearing that Kate would be admitted when I was asleep lol.

I hope she is having a smooth and easy delivery although a selfish part of me hope that the baby will be born in the next few hours since its normal for first time mums to endure 10+ hours--and I'll be sleeping by then!

My first royal baby watch begins....

PS. I was hoping for a Leo baby but this baby is meant to be a cancer I guess ;)

Three days? It's painful just thinking about that!

I'm sure she has all the specialist help on hand she could need for as smooth a delivery as possible.

I bet she's hoping it doesn't go on for three days though.

Just awaken and looked at my Phone. Now I probly will not sleep. May God Bless the Duke and Duchess at this Moment. May God Bless the new baby to have a long and happy life as it arrives in this world.

Aides say the Duchess's labour is progressing normally but will not say whether she has been induced.

I hope and pray Catherine safely deliver the baby. Good luck to Their Royal Highnesses.

Fingers crossed for a very Happy Birth Day to Wills and Kate....and also for my self-centred wish for it to be born on the 22nd.

Who is watching the live feed news cameras outside the Lindo Wing? Am I the only one cracking up about the millions of people that "need" to walk by there right now? And the street cleaner too? REALLY? Hahahaha!

There have been lots of tweets that say it's been reported as 'a natural birth' - was that ever in question? Sometimes the media are so silly. :ermm:

Good luck to them both,a safe and speedy delivery, then, perhaps, a lot less press intrusion. :)

My gynaecologist told me that there is no such thing as a "natural"birth in the western world !!:)

What's silly about it? A natural birth means painkillers like an epidural are not used. We don't know if it's a natural birth or not.

The 22nd is my name day and my boyfriend's birthday!

Thats what I was thinking probably 4-6 hours if all goes well.

Apparently Kate arrived at the hospital at 5:45am and entered via the Cambridge entrance.

We people watching the webcam will be very disappointed. :whistling:
