I love the pictures if Her Majesty listening to George. It looked to me as if it was a very important conversation. The hand gestures George was using were so grown-up . On a side note, the smile on the nanny is very creepy. I'm sure she's amazing with the children, and the camera just caught her in an awkward moment, but I just was taken aback by the facial expression.

It's like -I still get to be King, right ?

I, too, don't really get why Harry couldn't have stayed in the UK for a week to go to the Christening.

First- Great to see HM so thrilled, and she and George together are adorable.
Second- That second photo is ridiculously adorable. Her Majesty with George is so cute, and I love HM and William's body language torwads George- getting down to his level.
Third- Great picture of HM and Catherine.
Forth- ridiculously cute.
Fifth- I love all the great moments of William being Daddy in this one. The man has amazing children skills. Love how he handled George's tantrum.

You are calling William a peach? Or George?

I particularly adored the video of Prince George, after standing on tippy toes to look in the pram, walks away on tippy toes before he's off - so typically toddler - 'I'll just tippy toe away while they aren't paying attention and go play over there' is what I imagine his thoughts were.
And then on the walk back where once he became aware that his grandparents were in the group behind he seemed to really want to be in that group so William had to scoop him up and carry him - or at least that's how I interpreted the walk back.

Yes, I think he wanted to wait for everyone and Catherine gave the hint for William to pick him up. I know he gives his parents a workout due to them chasing him all over the place.

I think in one of the videos you can hear William saying to George "they're coming too" as he keeps looking towards his grandparents.

I thought:'Here comes trouble.'

I was reminded of Mike Tindall comments about George the bruiser.

I love the interactions between HM and her great-grandchildren. George looks really cherubic in the photo of him looking up and pointing to his great-grandmother, and in the photo of HM, Catherine and Charlotte, HM looks really delighted with her newest great-granddaughter.

I'm not sure if this has already been posted, but I found this adorable HQ photo of little Charlotte:

I wonder when the official photos will be released?

Does anyone have the link to the video in which George is talking to the queen? Couldn't find it on youtube...

Well yeah but none of Henry's children had children...so his direct line is long gone. The Stuarts took over, then that line was gone, then after that it was the Hanovers...then eventually the Scots came back into the mix, more English (and American) lines came in and now really Prince George is more English than any in a long long time.

However I don't know how tied in the Tudors (being a Welsh line) are to anything current...I can't remember how those lines go down from the other side.

Here is one. The Archbishop is blocking most of the view or the crop the Queen's head off.

Hopefully quite soon once the Testino team has them ready for the couple to choose the public and private ones.

Henry's children may not have had children (depending on whether or not you believe the Carey children were his; both Catherine and Henry Carey are ancestors to George), but George is related to Henry - Henry's sister, Margaret, is George and Charlotte's 16x great-grandmother (through one line of descent).

Leave the poor woman rest.
Leaving her to 'rest' is a word often used by those who don't want her mentioned anymore. She is William and Harry's mum always and forever and I would never criticise them for wanting to include and remember her in the important events in their lives. I am nearly 40 years old and don't even want to think about losing my mum and yet those two lost theirs when they were only children so I say good on them for keeping her memory alive, it shows how much they love and miss her and I'm sure she would have been so touched by their love and loyalty.

Yes I do think it most likely that the Carey children were Henry's but not legitimate so I didn't include them. Interesting...so cool...but way back there!
