Actually it's not that guy from the President's Choice commercials, it's his father (Gaylen Weston Jr. is the man we see on TV). Gaylen Weston Sr.'s wife used to be the Queen's Representative in Ontario.

The selected list represents 318 people (I counted) so far far away from the 1950 invited. As they indicated, it's a selected list... Miss the Middleton family and their friends and Kate and William's friend and the ambassadors, but it doesnt represent the 1630 missing... so maybe a lot of surprises. And on the official wedding site they said they listed the answers confirmed for sure. so maybe the insecurity in Jordan at the present time is the reason why maybe none of the royal family will be present at those turbulent times for their country. I wait for more surprises. Who are the 1630 missing?

I would love to see the Jordanian couple in the ceremony, but political times are really tricky nowdays.

I'm still hoping the Duke of Braganca is invited, but he's not on the list (even though only a few are) and nothing was ever confirmed by him, and he even said he didn't expect to get invited. It's surprising that they invited the heir to Serbia and not the heir to Portugal since Duarte is the president of the Infante d. Henrique awards which is a branch of the Duke of Edinburgh awards in Portugal. I'm still hoping that we will see him there, I guess we will have to wait and see.

I am puzzled about the wrong titles.
According to the official website of the royal family of Sweden
H.R.H. Prince Daniel
Prince of Sweden, Duke of Västergötland
And Willem-Alexander is Prince of Orange.

Belgium is right but there is no Crown Prince of the Netherlands as the heirs title is Prince of Orange. And it's strange that the reffered to Daniel only as Duke of Västergotland and not also as Prince. And Maria Teresa is only Duchess of Luxemburg not Grand Duchess.

Even within the BRF there are anomalies, eg
The Lady Davina and Mr Gary Lewis
Lady Rose and Mr George Gilman
The Earl and Countess of Ulster
Earl and Countess of St Andrews
I'd suggest the lists have been thrown together very quickly and not proof-read before issue.

On a different note, I am confused as to why the Earl of St. Andrews' children are on the list and his sister Helen Taylor's children are not. I know her girls are young but her boys are teenagers. James and Marina Ogilvy's children aren't on the list either which I also don't understand as they too are older now.

Oh, I have just noticed that the list is of "confirmed invitees" not of who was invited so perhaps those I mentioned above were invited and couldn't make it although it is still a bit odd that none of Helen Taylor's, James Ogilvy's or Marina Ogilvy's children will be there.

I am looking forward to seeing Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, Lady Gabriella, Crown Princely couple of Belgium, Mr. and Mrs. Beckham, Lalla Salma and Sheikh of Qatar and Sheikha Mozah. King Abdullah and Queen Rania are not mentioned in the list. Will they be attending?

Well, i guess Daniels official title until Victoria becomes throne IS Duke of Västergötland. In english it sounds cooler than prince.
