^That's my problem too. It's easier to just have it on a disk and never re-watch then spend the following week going crazy cause I can't find it anywhere

I'm def going to tape either CBC or CTV and then I'm thinking possibly doing ABC and perhaps TLC but not finalized yet, you never know with me I can change my mind in an instant.

Totally it's happened to me SO many times it's not funny so I definitely want to be on the safe side and have more then 1 version incase there's a glitch or something. So lucky you have BBC I'd kill to have BBC. I have BBC World News and that's all. Thank god for my friend in the UK who is going to tape the BBC broadcast for me.

I just have a feeling the ABC announcers are going to annoy the heck out of me. I'm wondering if I should stick to TLC and CBC and record CBC in HDTV as well. See what I mean when I say I can change my mind in an instant?

If they go the same route that they did for Charles and Camilla's wedding, BBC World went to BBC One and covered the wedding from start to finish with a 5 minute news summary between the civil ceremony and the blessing, so I can't imagine that they wouldn't do the same thing!!. I only have BBC World (offline, that is).

if you want BBC, SKY, or ITV, what I did is subscribed to a VPN for 5 pounds a month ($7.5/month or something like that) and it works out pretty good, I haven't had any problems connecting to live feeds. If you have an Xbox360, you can get SKY news for free (no VPN required), all you have to do is set up a dummy Xbox Live UK account online on the computer, and then go on the Xbox and sign in and then download the sky player!!. EASY PEASY!!! Then if you wanna record SKY News, you hook up the xbox to a DVD recorder and you are good to go. Unforunately, I have no cheat to get the BBC live feed on PS3 or Xbox. Plus, BBC only has the BBC iPlayer which is a catcup-service that shows shows that were recently aired (no live feed for any console).

Nerdiness, thy name is Queen Penelope!!

Gah!! yay! so now I'm sure I'm going to record BBC, and CBC. I'm debating my Canadian channel though. I wonder if I should go with CTV, CBC or Global.

I think I read BBC America will be airing it live as well as streaming it on their website^

yes I was correct

Didn't you say you were going too hook up your DVR, DVD recorder and your VCR?. You're set girl!! BBC, CBC and just flip a coin for the third channel!! lol

Although IMO, Global would be my last choice as they've never covered a royal wedding before! CBC and CTV know how it's done! (I just like the CBC because they always have docs on the BRF!)

Good idea you can never fail with the flip a coin trick, or even enny meeny miney moe! I've always loved CBC too I find their commentators know what their talking about! Even when they had the Olympics they were the only network I watched. CTV I remember covered Concert for Diana and they're broadcasters annoyed me to death. They also did her memorial service though I missed it due to a dentist appointment so I dunno how they did with that.

Behind the scenes wedding special to air on NBC (US). I'm so excited about this.

^^ I wonder if it is actually NBC filming this or if it is a lot like other BRF behind the scenes stuff (ie. The Queen's Castle, Monarchy) which is filmed by a film/production studio (whatever you call it! :) ) and broadcasted by whomever wants to air it?

for me, the coverage that doesn't have a Brit commentator doesn't have the gravitas that the coverage of the ones that do. Watching Charles and Camilla's wedding from the CBC wasn't the same as watching the BBC's coverage. Both were good, but as a Canadian there's something about watching a British royal wedding and listening to our commonwealth brethren!

Either way - that behind the scenes preparations will be a "can't miss"!!!

It's being produced by a British company that has done other documentaries.

SPUNGOLD TELEVISION - RECENT PROGRAMMES - SGTV - WOGAN NOW AND NEXT

Has anyone seen any of these? I don't know about the quality of these productions.

Here's another article about the special. I'm looking forward to it.

The article says that NBC will air the entire wedding, so I assume this means it will be live coverage.

Matt Lauer, Meredith Vieira Get Complete Access to Prince William, Kate Middleton's Wedding

3D royal wedding ruled out by Palace | Media | guardian.co.uk

Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding will not become the latest 3D TV phenomenon after Buckingham Palace ruled it out.

I just came across a channel here in so. cal called "ovation" and all this week they are showing the same royal programs over and over each night and then Saturday they are showing them all in a row incase you miss one during the week. I think they have a biography of William called: Becoming a Prince, and a couple of Diana regarding her dresses and her jewels. another called Bertie and Elizabeth. And another one regarding William & Kate.
Since this is a new channel, I'm not sure if other cable/satellite companies have it. I had never heard of it until last night! So suprise!

I assume so if not I know CTV is for a fact but I'm guessing CBC is a given. Global also announced coverage for the wedding.
