So, I'm reading that one of the hymns at the service is one from Diana's funeral. Is it the Love Divine, All Love Excelling hymn? It's a lovely song, but I'm afraid I do not remember which hymns were at Diana's funeral (and it's some newspaper that is reporting some hymn from the Royal Program is from Diana's funeral).

This would be in keeping with the etiquette discussed here yesterday on how to incorporate a parent who has died.

The boy from Harlem, New York, who will protect the Queen at the Royal Wedding | Mail Online

Denton John will have a front row seat for tomorrow’s Royal Wedding – as the only American protecting the Queen.

In his shining breastplate, red plume, sword and immaculately-pressed uniform, the 23-year-old New Yorker is a proud member of the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.

Thank you, WBenson.

One of my other, earlier questions has now been answered by the Official Programme. Instead of the father of the grooming riding with the mother of the bride (etc.), all four parents are riding together in one semi-state landau. Nice way to work it out.

Per CNN we will not see William or Kate sign the official wedding certificate. It'll be sign in Edward the Confessor's shrine (? Is that what's called?)

I believe so, or something similar. We've never seen the signing of the register for any royal wedding that's been televised.

I can't sleep! Getting 3 hours of sleep is probably not even worth it.

To sleep or not to sleep - oh how it is a big question on the opposite side of the planet.

We are going to try to stay awake, DVR on two channels (just in case) and hear the play by play, here on The Royal Forums.

We put ourselves on Mainland/PST time (so as to be able to think about it a little more optimistically) a few days ago (we go back and forth to the continent regularly and our kids are there right now). I'm so afraid I'll miss it if I fall asleep.

It'll be dinner time where I am. There's enough Easter chocolate (half a box) left over

I fell asleep while waiting for Victorias wedding and I missed a lot of it. Thank God I woke up right when she came out of the car. I was so tired my alarm couldn't wake me up lol.

I had to watch Victoria and Daniel's wedding online simultaneously with a football match on TV. No such challenge this time round.

The guests should be getting dressed by now. Or at least the women.

Anyway I tried to fight the good fight, but I can't stay up much longer:(

I am ready to go. Our coverage starts in 45 minutes although that will be all guesses at the dress and views of the crowd etc for the first couple of hours.

Glad I am in Australia as it is perfectly timed for here to be on in the evening. My poor husband is aware he will get no sense out of me until after the end of the coverage!!
