The weather I hope will be fond and the spectators will take all in without damping of showmanship. I can imagine the so many people cueing in on this one commencing event and everyone sighing, complying, crying and trying to send their ado in communion of this anew for all to consent. I as a fan will cherish the lavish gathering of all heads of state and of course merrily ingest the enormity of being another guest. I probably won't sleep. That's fine as I consider this quite the blessed. I will only wait. May you all find the day to be blind with love and forever closer to us all.

Hope too. :flowers:

I won't mind if it rains, as long as it happens after 6 p.m :p!

I remember the wedding of the Prince and Princess of Asturias and the rain was really heavy! But at least when they went to th balcony the sub came back

Royal wedding: Prince William's pal Nicholas Van Cutsem will take command - Telegraph

One of Prince William’s closest friends since childhood, Nicholas van Cutsem will have a key role at the royal wedding.

Van Cutsem, a major with the Household Cavalry’s Life Guards, will command the Captain’s Escort of mounted soldiers who will accompany William and Kate Middleton in their carriage from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace.

Kate looks really tired, hope she is able to get some sleep before the big day or the make up artist will have to use quite a bit of make up. I must say she does look happy.
In the pictures of their stuff arriving at the hotel, there was pictures of her father leaving with bodyguards? Do her family get bodyguards? I thought it was only Kate after she got engaged or could it be London is such a busy place now just extra security?

I hope this is not true, I think Kate should have her make up done professionally for her big day. Pictures & TV need a bit heavier make up than usual to look good & im pretty sure Kate is not capable.

Loving the new picture!! Don't understand though how do you download it?

Just saw them they look amazing as always. Dang I'll have alot of pages to capture wish there was an easier way to download the programme oh well :)

We are lucky here in OZ with the timing of the wedding.
11am UK is 8pm where I am ... perfect :flowers:

Yeah. It's very convenient for us.

I don't know how I'm going to focus at work tomorrow, though.

I'm making chocolate biscuit cake, scones and maybe Eton Mess for Friday. I have a small bottle of wine. I think I'll get out the tea cups too.

I'm curling up with some left over Easter chocolate :D

I'm assuming all the foreign royals should be arriving today right?

I cannot even get the official program to work for me now the website smashed. Guess the screen caps will have to wait till the morning.

The Spice Girls just went onto twitter and shared their memories of going over to highgrove and William and Harry making them peanut butter sandwiches

Late night news showed our governor general departing for London so he's on his way!

They should be unless they will be arriving later today and missing today's reception. If they fly in early morning tomorrow, it gives them very little time to get ready (ladies that would be) :D

This certainly isn't the most user-friendly document I've ever dealt with. Hopefully they make the download of the actual pdf file available. I'll have to try to get my hands on the epub file in the itunes store and see what I can do with that.

I do hope they make a pdf file available. I have itunes but I don't have and ipad or iphone or ibook can I still use the epub file? I'm really slow on all this.

Update from Richard! Kate has just left CH and is heading to the Abbey

I suspect that there are rights issues with the new Testino photograph that don't allow for the actual download of the service. I loathe iTunes, but apparently downloading it is going to be the only way to actually get a file on my hard drive that I can work with.

This shouldn't be this hard. :ermm:

I think that could be it I'm going to try getting onto my itunes account see if I can mange to download it

Straight from BBC: Harry Kate and the bridesmaids and page boys have just arrived to the abbey. Strange since yesterday StJP said that this was the last rehearsal and yet another today.

A word of advice to anyone who sets out to get the order of service through iTunes: it's only available in the UK at this moment.

Kate will walk up the aisle to the hymn "I Was Glad" which was also used in the Coronation. This is an amazing and magnificent piece of music and is certainly already leaving me speechless!

I'm sorry, but that sounds so ridiculous. As long as all the paperwork is in order and signed, and the appropriate officiant is there to conduct the service (be it religious or civil), why should it matter where the couple chooses to say their vows?

Ridiculous or not, that is just the way we do it in the UK. We reallly do not go around talking about all that we may find ridiculous in other parts of the world, so lets just respect how things are done in other parts of the world!

- Kate looks terribly tired and stressed in these last pictures before the big day
- hopefully she WONT be allowed to do her own makeup
- I dont like the new picture at all, I hate the fact that William is pushed into the background, Kate looks like her mother, very severe with an overdose of grin & eyeliner

I don't see that William has been pushed into the background at all - I see them standing side by side. It's possibly the camera angle.

And they are both grinning widely, so it's not just Catherine.

I've never had champagne in the morning, (well maybe at a Sunday brunch around 11:00 a.m... certainly never at 3 or 4 in the morning), but I'm thinking of chilling a bottle of my favorite California sparkling wine, Roederer, and enjoying it during the festivities. I'll be drinking it alone because my husband will sleep right through everything, and then he'll get up and go to the office...

I'm relatively new to this lovely valley I live in, and haven't yet found any fellow royalists. But I'll think about all the forumees around the world enjoying it with me. I'm going to watch BBC America and stream the royal channel on my laptop. Overkill? Maybe. Now I just have to figure out what to eat with my champagne! I'll be checking in on forum comments, too, OF COURSE!!!

Enjoy everyone!!!

I'm getting up at 3 am with
My mother who is visiting. At about 5 am I'll 'do' a full English breakfast. Then once the kiss is over well have an early lunch with English wedding cake and
Pink champagne (also roederer!).

Enjoy!
