I do hope that either the dress or the veil will be lace. I love lace!

I agree, and I think it suits Catherine. There was a photo of her and Pippa at a party (book launch or gallery opening, I can't remember which) where she was wearing a champagne colored lace dress and it looked smashing on her. That always pops into my head when I try to imagine her in a bridal gown for some reason.

I believe this is the one http://cache1.asset-cache.net/xc/741...EEA354313DE5AF
I also am a big fan of lace. Besides really feminine it's really classy

I love the Monique Lhullier gown! Hopefully Kate will be in something similar

The problem with lace is that to me it can sometimes "blur the vision" so the front of above gown does look abit kind of complicated and dare I say shapeless. The back though was really nice.

it's my pleasure. I was never a very "weddingy" person, but Will&Kate's has made me more interested in it.
The chosing of the dress must be the best part and also nervewreking, although there's nothing writing in stone, there are some rules she is expected to follow.
I was watching this TV show at TLC "Say Yes to the Dress", and they were talking about which dress suits better for each body shape. And no doubt about it, the "tall and lean" gets the most options (of course each person will require adjustments) in comparison to other shapes.
A lot of people will have a opinion about this dress. If only Kate could check in with us before the big day

It's beautiful but also too lacey for my taste. Silk would fit Kate much better in my opinion. Lace is so frou-frou and her personal style is not like that at all. But who knows, when it comes to wedding dresses, you're expectations of what she would choose are not always true.
I personally adore Lara Stone's wedding dress. It's so gorgeous and designed by Riccardo Tisci, designer at Givenchy. http://stylefrizz.com/img/lara-stone...dress-full.jpg

That Monique L'Huillier dress posted at #157 is absolutely beautiful from the back - not a fan of the front though.
