RIP - and an extremely complicated succession based on male agnatic primogeniture: sons of a monarch go before grandsons of a monarch, meaning that a brother is higher in succession than a son. To translate it to Britain, the line of succession would be:

Charles
Andrew
Edward
William
Harry
James
George

Currently, but that is changing in Saudi Arabia. As they are now moving to the next generation, it us based upon merit. The current crown prince is not the eldest grandson, he has an older brother and at least a few older cousins.
