Konstantin Schimert (b.1968) [youngest child of Princess Editha of Bavaria (b.1924) by her late second husband, Gustaw Schimert (1910-1990)] married Karina Frowein (b.1968) [daughter of late Jan-Ernst Frowein (1938-2010) {himself son of Countess Louise-Marie von Rhoden (1903-1989) & her husband, Ernst Gunther Frowein (1899-1971)} & his wife Marie Terese, nee von Malaise (b.1945)] this year.
They have a daughter together, Marie-Jose (b.2010); Karina has also two sons: Conrad (10-1-2001) & Casimir (12-11-2002) by her first husband, Prince Hubertus zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg (b.1967) whom she divorced in 2009, after ten years of marriage.

Tatiana Munro (b.1983) [oldest daughter of Countess Silvia Holstein (b.1958) {herself fifth of seven daughters of Princess Marie Gabrielle of Luxembourg (b.1925) & her late husband Knud, Count Holstein (1919-2001)} & her husband John Munro (b.1959)] married Martin Skaarup Thers Madsen (who after marriage changed his surname to Munro-Thers) this year. They already have a son, Marcus Munro-Madsen (b.2009).

Their civil wedding took place on Christmas Eve last year.
The bridegroom waspreviously married to Priska Vilcsek (b.1959) from 2000 to 2009. They have a son Constantin (12-7-2000).

Baron Henrik Ramel (b.1982) [third of four children and youngest son of Otto, Baron Ramel (b.1950) {himself son of Countess Madeleine Douglas (b.1927) & her late husband Hans, Baron Ramel (1925-2009)}& his wife Eva, nee Ohlsson (b.1949)] married Katarina Sivander this year.

Five months before passing away of the Duchess of Auerstaedt, this family experienced a great joy:

Her grandson, Prince Nicolas Davout d'Auerstaedt (b.30 August 1982) married Marie Lepage (b.7 March 1983) in Paris on 18 June.
Nicolas is a son of her third son, Prince Augustin Davout d'Auerstaedt (b.1955) & his former wife, Marie Fallon (b.1955).

Ingrid is second child who marries; her twin sister Charlotte married Jean-Phillippe Humblet on 18 September last year. They have two more sisters - also twins: Anne Sophie and Alexandra (b.22 July 1987)

Don Pietro is the eldest of the four sons of the late Count Ludovico Roberto Lucchesi-Palli (himself the eldest son of Count Don Pietro Lucchesi-Palli and his wife, née Princess Beatrice of Bourbon-Parma) and his wife, née Donna Stefania of the Princes Ruffo di Calabria. He was born on 4 January 1943, and in 1986 succeeded in his titles to his childless cousin Count Don Alfredo.
