Count Carl Johan af Rosenborg (b. 1979), son of Count Axel af Rosenborg (b. 1950) [himself son of Count Flemming af Rosenborg, formerly Prince of Denmark, and his morganatic wife Ruth Nielsen] and his first wife Jane Glarborg, and his wife Sidsel Lykke Nielsen had their second child, Valdemar, this year.

Also young father's first cousin, Maria Anna Dichgans (b.1981) [oldest of six children of Countess Eleonore of Waldburg and Zeil and Trauchburg (b.1957) & her husband Joseph Dichgans (b.1952)] & her husband Jan Schuter had their third child this year.

A double joy of grandparenthood has come last year to Emmanuel Suchet, Duke of Albufèra & his wife Elisabeth, née de Fontanges (both born 1944):

Their older son, Armand Suchet, Marquis of Albufèra (b.25 October 1976) & his wife Laetitia, née de Benoist de Gentissart (b.13 September 1983) had their second daughter, Heloise, at London this year.

A sister for Eugenie (11-12-2012).

Pardon my ignorance and rudeness, is the reason known why they waited so long with having a child? She is so young and married at an early age as well, it kind of makes me puzzled as to why they did not have one yet.
