Angela Wepper, nee von Morgen, primo voto Princess Ferfried of Hohenzollern died on 11 January, exactly two months after her 76th birthday.

She was born as fourth of five daughters of Countess Margarethe of Schlitz genannt von Görtz (1909-1994) & her first husband Ernst von Morgen (1893-1963); her second sister Gisele died in 1945 aged 12.

In 1967, four years after the death of her father, her mother married her paternal first cousin, Otto Hartmann, Count of Schlitz genannt von Görtz (1907-1977) who was also a widower; his first wife Marta Hagen died in 1966, aged 63; he had two children with her: Faralda (1933-2013) & Rudiger, current Count of Schlitz genannt von Görtz (b.1939) - in such a way Angela's maternal second cousins became her stepsiblings.

She married firstly in Schloss Sigmaringen on 21 September 1968 Prince Ferfried of Hohenzollern (b.1943) [youngest of seven children of Frierrich, Prince of Hohenzollern (1891-1965) & his wife, Margaretha nee Princess of Saxony (199-1962)]; she was probably already expecting their first daughter, Valerie, who was born on 10 April 1968. On 8 May 1971 their second daughter Stephanie was born; unfortunately they divorced two years later.

In 1979 she married German film and television actor Fritz Wepper (b.1941) by who she had another daughter Sophie, born on 18 October 1981, who followed in her father's footsteps.
Wepper made headlines in the yellow press when he left her for the younger Susanne Kellermann (b. 1974) in 2009. He has a daughter (b. 2012) from the relationship with Kellermann, but later the couple reconciled. In March last year their granddaughter, Claire Meister, was born [daughter of Sophie & her husband David Meister]

Angela had also four more grandchildren: by Valerie & her husband Peter Brenske (b.1956) - Kilian (b.1994), Leonie (b.1996) & Carlin (b.around 2007) and by Stephanie & her husband Martin Haag (b.1960) - Konstantin (b.2009).

Her first husband after their divorced remarried twice, both these marriages also ended in divorce; by his second wife Eliane Etter (b.1947; they married in 1977 and divorced in 1987) he has two more children: Henriette (b.1976) & Moritz (b.1980) and twin granddaughters Fiona & Ailani (b.2016) [daughters of Moritz & his wife Heidi, nee Rodriguez (b.1975).
His last wife Maya Meinert was exactly two months younger than his and Angela's younger daughter; they married in 1999 and divorced in 2007.

Last year two persons close to her predeceased her: her younger sister Felizitas (b.1949), Countess Giorgio Piccolomini Clementi Adami (b.1948), Primo voto Mrs. Michael Sharman [by whom she had her only daughter Francesca (b.1987)] and her brother-in-law Andrea Cagliati (b.1922), widower of her eldest sister Sigrid (1931-2010) who was previously married to Felix Coronas y de Aramburu (1914-1962) by whom she had two children - Margareta (b.1957) & Fernando (DOB unknown).

Her third sister Erica (1935-2007) was from 1961 to 1979 the wife of Carl Philipp, Prince of Salm-Salm (b.1933) by whom she three sons - Emanuel (b.1961; now Hereditary Prince of Salm-Salm), Philipp (b.1963) & Clemens (b.1966); they divorced; he is now married to Elizabeth Frisch (b.1951)

As we may see, Angela is the last one of her parents' daughters to pass away.
