They initiate the proceedings to dismiss, for reasons of health, to Emir of Kuwait

Kuwaiti Gobern has given to east beginning Saturday to the constitutional procedures to dismiss to the Emir for health reasons. Sheik Saad to the Abdala to the Salem to the Sabah, successor of the Jaber deceased to the Ahmad to the Sabah, does not have been one week at least to the front of the Emirate. Sheik Saad suffers diabetes, and was operated of the colon in 1997.

Cabinet invoked article 3 of Constitution, which he specifies the conditions that must reunite the Emir to be able to govern, at the time of making the decision, according to informed Kuwaiti agency Kuna, who mentions the declarations of Vice Prime Minister of the Emirate, Mohamad Dhaifallah Sharar. The mentioned article indicates that if the Emir does not fulfill all the conditions to assume his position, the Government must send the subject to the National Assembly (Parliament), so that it behind closed doors evaluates it during a session.

The inheriting prince not yet has been named, although all the Kuwaitis give by insurance that will be prime minister, sheik Sabah to the Amhed to the Sabah.

Prime Minister Named Emir of Kuwait

The Cabinet moved swiftly Tuesday night to fill Kuwait's leadership void by naming the prime minister to take over as emir, just hours after the ailing ruler was ousted by parliament.

In removing Sheik Saad Al Abdullah Al Sabah as emir in an unanimous vote, parliament handed temporary power to the government of Sheik Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah, the prime minister and half brother of the longtime ruler, who died Jan. 15.

Kuwait Swears in New Emir

KUWAIT CITY Jan 29, 2006 — Sheik Sabah Al Ahmed Al Sabah was sworn in as the new emir of Kuwait on Sunday, ending an unprecedented leadership crisis in the oil-rich U.S. ally that saw the legislature vote to oust the former leader.
Earlier Sunday, parliament voted unanimously to name Sheik Sabah the new leader the first time in Kuwait's history that the legislature played a role in choosing the emir, a matter that had been the business of the ruling family for hundreds of years.
The ceremonies ended a leadership struggle and a dispute within the ruling Al Sabah family that had ballooned into a crisis after Sheik Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah died Jan. 15, leaving an ailing prince as his successor.

On jjb messege board there has been a huge discussion about thus girl who claims to be a kuwaiti royal.

She says her name is Dana and that she is the daughter of the present emirs brother, and granddaughter of the emir who died in January.

She says she was born in late 80´s and lived in London in the beginning of the 90´s and studied at Hill House

Does anyone have more information? Is this really true or is this girl lying?
