I read last year where Crown Prince Alexander wanted to bring back his father's (King Peter II) remains back to the Royal Mausoleum at Oplenac from Libertyville, IL . . . .

Has there been any update on that situation?

Queen Alexandra made several attempts at suicide.

Yes, it was a pretty awful marriage, beset by financial troubles and made worse by King Peter's despair about his country's plight and his own exile. He and Queen Alexandra were very young when they married and very much in love but it all soon descended into volatily, exacerbated by Peter's heavy drinking. He became an alcoholic.

Are there any photos of Queen Alexandra in her older years?

Boy King Peter II of Yugoslavia (1935)

Today, 52 years have passed since the death of His Majesty King Peter II of Yugoslavia on 3 November 1970.

He had been king from 1934 until he was deposed on the 29th of November 1945 and never returned to his homeland.
The ex King died in exile in Denver,Colorado.

Crown Prince Alexander:

"My mother, Queen Alexandra , passed away on this day in 1993 in East Sussex, England.

Dear mother, you will always be in my prayers and in my heart.

She was buried in the royal cemetery of Tatoi in Greece, and twenty years later, in 2013, her remains were transferred to Oplenac in the family tomb where she now rests next to her husband, my father, King Peter the Second."
