With the death of King Michael a chapter has been closed. The Romanian mod. team has therefore decided to re-organize the Romanian forum.

We have noticed that in the past we often saw the same discussion being held by the same posters in a multitude of different threads.

This can no longer continue.

Since most posters of the Romanian forum have been posting here for several years we can assume that you understand where to post what comments. Posting the same arguments in several different threads can only mean that the poster, although understanding the different topics, choses to disregard them to suit his or her own agenda.

This can no longer continue.

The Romanian mod. team would like to point out that off topic posts will be regarded as a way to further your own agenda. We therefore will DELETE each and every off topic post. You can regard this message as a notification of possible future deletions.

to help you navigate this forum, please note that:

* Posts about the relationship between the the Custodian of the Crown and Nicholas de Roumanie Medforth Mills can be posted here.
* Posts about the paternity suit against Nicholas de Roumanie Medforth Mills can be posted here.
* Posts about the Princely title of Nicholas de Roumanie Medforth Mills can be posted here.
* Posts about the relationship with - and the succession rights of the house of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen can be posted here.
* Posts about the succession rights of other descendants of King Carol II can be posted here.
* Posts about the future and possible restoration of the Romanian monarchy can be posted here.
* Posts about the title of "Custodian of the Crown" can be posted here.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact the moderators of the Romanian forum.

Today January 18, in Elisabeta Palace her Majesty Margareta, Prince Radu and Princess Maria hosted an evening dedicated to the Romanian Television. Her Majesty Margareta thanked all the employees of the national television that contributed to the uninterrupted and relentless transmission of all these days between the death of King Mihai and the final day of the funeral.

I saw photos wheŕe Alina de Roumanie Medforth Mills can be seen too near her husband. It was very beautiful that the Catholic Church remembered the King in such a special day.

The late King has always been close to the Catholic Church even if he was Orthodox. Last night event was really like a moment of prayer for the Sovereign.

Even if relatives and even if it was a moment dedicated to the late King the members of the Family did not come together and did not sit together.

Most people would appreciate that they attended this event together, and that the Royal Family comes together in appreciation of the life of the late King, and the continued service of the family in Romania.

A select few however, choose to continue to sow mistrust and needless discontent where none exist, while pretending to advocate unity and harmony. One should remember that such people never achieve anything, and that the brave work of the Royal Family in these times of mourning and trying to carve out their future in a Romania that doesn’t know whether to completely include them, semi-include them or exclude them from official life, is an example of service to others that more might take a lesson from.

As stated in the 2nd post of this thread: relations between Nicholas De Roumanie Medforth Mills and his family can NOT be discussed in this thread. There is a thread dedicated to the subject, which you can find here:

Hear hear! The church is to be commended for honouring the King's memory both thorugh the concert itself and in inviting all the members of his family established in Romania while recognising His Late Majesty's designated heiress as the guest of honour.

Not the Church organized the event but the Choir.
The Catholic Church is not involved anyway in recognizing or not anybody as Successors of the late Sovereign. The Metroplitan of Bucharest did not even attend the event.

Indeed it is, and the event was attended by all members of the Royal Family that live in Romania. That is as clear a signal as you could expect at this stage, and people responded very positively to the event.

Peles Castle is without heating for a month and the responsible off the Museum say that's the responsability of the King's Family:
