It was a wonderful gesture of the Orleans to invite Mr Medforth Mills who is a descendant of the Orleans in female line himself.

He is also a descendant in female line from King Charles X of France.

The "blue blood" of Nicholas Medforth-Mills is of the same thickness as that of Doña Leonor, the Princess of Asturias, to name someone. Both Nicholas and Leonor have a full royalborn parent, with full royalborn grandparents, etcetera. Nicholas has darker "blue blood" than many other royals in reigning monarchies.

The problem is not his extraordinary rich royal genealogy but his relationship with members of his mother's family.

The lady in question is lovely. They look nice as a couple.

Given that you seem to be a big advocate of these organizations, and based on your extremely vocal support of the Hohenzollerns, it is fair to deduce that this new umbrella group comprised of smaller monarchist associations will back the Hohenzollerns of Sigmaringen.

In which case these posts do not really belong here, but probably in either the thread about the Romanian succession or that regarding the Princely House of Hohenzollern.

This seems to be a rather distasteful discussion for people to be having at a time when the Royal Family has just been struck by the death of Her Majesty Queen Anne.

This is an important event for the monarchists and unfortunatele the majority of the threads of the Romanian Forum continue to be closed.

Regardless of how "important" it is at this time, the news is only relevant here if it has to do with Nicholas.

These Associations are known for their sympathy for Mr Medforth Mills.

When will he come for the funeral of his grandmother?

Looking at the Tv I did not see him at the airport or at Peles.

Neither of which facts support your question about when he will come to Romania. For all we know, he already is.

Simply because on does not see him on television does not mean he is not in the country.

From his removal on 1 August 2015 through the death of his grandmother on 1 August 2016, Nicholas is considered a private person and has only been seen in public twice.

The first time was in January 2016 when he was seen lighting a candle at the memorial for victims of the Colectiv tragedy; the second time was in June 2016 at the Orléans baptism.

The moment when Mr Medforth Mills couls attend will be probably the Requiem in fromt of the Royal Palace on Saturday.

All those commenting the funetal of Queen Ana spoke about the presence of Mr Medforth Mills and it is clear he is still as popular if not more than last year.

Filip Lucian Iorga, author of The Road Home concerning Prince Nicholas' life and what led him to serve Romania, appeared on one of the stations.

Mr Iorga spoke about the fact that it is possible for Nicholas to be reinstated in the line of succession if the Head of the House wishes it.

Another article mentions that the prince flew in to Bucharest on Friday for the funeral.

The King won't change it and after the King it would be more difficult.

As Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna once quipped to an interviewer: "Who knows? I am not a fortune teller!"

That is my take on this situation.

Anything can happen.

Certainly the only possible continuity in the country for the Family in the future ciuld be linked only with Mr Medforth Mills.

It's not beyond the realm of possibility if the state alone decides to hand a new crown to prince Nicolae or his descendants and bypass house rules. The state made It happen in Greece and Spain.

There are only three choices in case of restoration: to respectect the royalist tradition and to offer the Crown to the Hohenzollerns, to offer the Crown to The very popular Nicholas de Roumanie Medforth Mills or to call another Dynasty.

There's a fourth option, and it's the one that makes most sense: to respect the King's choice and give the crown to his firstborn daughter, Crown Princess Margareta.

But you'll claim she's not popular among the monarchists, right? Too bad you're never able to provide sources to support your claims, not even a single opinion poll. And it wouldn't be the first time you're caught lying to promote your agenda against the Crown Princess and Prince Radu.
