IACB Conference 2018: Nicolae al Romaniei, Supporter of Autistic Children in Romania
The IACB 2018 International Conference is an event dedicated to families and autistic professionals that took place in Bucharest on October 19-21, bringing together more than 400 participants, in a place and a warm, informative environment of humanity, understanding and resources , both for specialists and for parents coming to the event.
The conference organized by AITA - The Association for Therapeutic Intervention in Autism - brought to Bucharest parents, specialists, people with autism, representatives of NGOs in the country, over 40 lecturers from the country and abroad, taking place during the 3rd days and discussing the therapies needed by people with autism, services, identifying needs, solutions, resources, in complex documented papers but bringing through lecturers' approach, both scientific evidence and emotion, and especially inspiration.
The opening event was attended by Nicolae al Romaniei, who brought emotion and supported events throughout or being with parents, supporting Andrew in class IX, who presented a wonderful work about life with autism, which tied a beautiful relationship of friendship.
Nicolae is the grandson of King Mihai. Nicolae followed his family's steps and came to Romania in 2012 to continue the mission of his predecessors. Since 2012 he has been active in the educational, social and cultural environment by organizing and patronizing various initiatives and projects.

Nicolae talked today shortly to Mediafax reporter at the RO-Wine Festival.

The grandson of King Mihai, former Prince Nicolae, and his wife Alina will leave next year in their honeymoon in an exotic destination abroad, after having spent a week in the Danube Delta after the wedding.
Asked on Saturday, in Cluj-Napoca, if something changed in his life after the wedding and where he would spend his honeymoon, Nicolae said that in the Delta he found exactly what he needed, namely peace.
- We are married. We went through Delta for a week, it was exactly what we needed, quiet, in the nature. Next year we will do something more exotic, we go abroad.
He announced that the 100th anniversary of the Great Union they will celebrate "alongside the people" in Alba Iulia.
- It is an important date for all of us, for Romania, and we can use this opportunity to be a lesson for all of us, for the children and for the younger generation, said King Mihai's grandson.

Everybody knows if they invited Nicholas and Aline , this is very good for them because it will be on his facebook or instagram.
 
Two attendances Autism and Wine and such a lot of Instagrams from Nicholas and people who attended .
Nicholas had such a nice wedding (paid by porveyors ).
What he is doing now as Romanian Citizen is without interest.

I haven't read from anywhere, who paid Nicolae's wedding. Except that the Mayor of Sinaia said that Nicolae paid the rent of the Casino.

I find it extremely interesting, what Nicolae has done in a quite short time after he and Alina-Maria moved back to Romania again. He had to have a very good network of people in Romania the whole time he lived elsewhere. I find it also interesting, in what kind of projects he takes part and what he makes next.

RO-Wine Festival is organized by Liviu Popescu, his brother Mihai Popescu and Marinela V. Ardelean. Liviu Popescu is obviously a very good friend of Alina-Maria, because Alina-Maria had asked him and his wife to be godparents from her side at their wedding. And Liviu escorted Alina-Maria to the church.

Prince @Nicolaealromaniei, grandson of King Michael was one of the first volunteers #MaiMultVerde and @amaliaenache took the only television interview given to romanian television of Prince William's wedding in London. It was a joy to meet him this summer at the launch of the @viratransilvanic project, whose ambassador he is, and I met tonight his wife, @alinamariaderoumanie. Romania still needs such bright figures, heirs of a tradition that honors us.

Recently, Nicolae al Romaniei watched, in preview, the exceptional documentary produced by John Florescu, "Maria - Heart of Romania".
"Finally, we have something filmed, a movie we can show to young people. We must remind them of what has happened in the past and learn from it and make progress towards a better future. She was a very courageous lady and very much connected with the people and the country. And that made a big difference for her. Prince Nicolae and his wife, Alina, are present in Alba Iulia on the National Day of Romania.
Prince Nicolae, grandson of King Mihai I and his wife, Alina, will be in Alba Iulia on the occasion of the Centenary of the Great Union. Next to them will be present Indrei Ratiu, son of Ion Raţiu, and grandson of Augustin Raţiu, one of the 1,228 delegates from Alba Iulia, on December 1, 1918.
The royal couple will be present on Friday, Nov. 30, in front of the Coronation Cathedral, where in their presence there will be laid wreaths of flowers on the statues of King Ferdinand I and Queen Maria, and then at 12.15 on the hoist of the Romanian flag at Coronation Cathedral esplanade.

On Saturday, 1 December, they will take part in the Te Deum service at the Coronation Cathedral at 10.00 and at 15.00 they will attend the inauguration of the Union Bridge and the Monument of the Great Union, and then will be present in the official Military ceremony - parade of troops and military equipment.
"I am proud of what the family has done for Romania and we must work for a more united Romania," said Prince Nicolae.

Nicolae and Alina-Maria are friends of the Ratiu family, they just had dinner with Indrei's wife Pamela. Nicolae attended in June at the Ratiu Friends and Family Weekend 2018, organized by the Ratiu Foundation and the Ratiu Center for Democracy.

Margareta and other members of the royal family will also attend at Te Deum and the military ceremony on Saturday.

Nicolae and Alina-Maria are today in Alba Iulia, they attended at a couple of events of celebration of the centenary of The Great Union Day/The National Day.

Nicolae was interviewed at a live broadcast after the Romanian flag was hoisted. After the interview many people came to talk with Nicolae and Alina-Maria and wanted to take photos with them.

Prince Nicolae and his wife, Alina-Maria, are present these days in Alba Iulia to celebrate the Centenary in the place where his great-great grandparents, Ferdinand and Maria, were crowned as Kings of Great Romania.
The prince participated on November 30th at the wreath-laying ceremony to the statues of King Ferdinand and the Queen Maria and to flag-raising ceremony of the Romanian flag.
"It was an exciting moment and I'm glad we was present and I was part of this moment. I have great emotions because it is a very close place for my family and it is important for us all Romanians to be united and to be here today and tomorrow (November 30 and December 1). In 100 years, the country has progressed a lot and we have to learn a lot from the past to learn what to do in the future. We can learn a lot from King Ferdinand and Queen Maria, they have done many things for our country", said the prince.
"Let us respect, to be united and be proud of our country", he conveyed to the Romanians.

On 28th November Nicolae was at the premiere of "Maria - Inima României" in Ateneul Roman in Bucharest. Princess Maria attended at the same event.
On 15th November Nicolae and Alina-Maria attended at an event organized by Kultho Forever Diamonds, held at Palais Ghica Victoria in Bucharest.
On 6th November Nicolae and Alina-Maria attended the gala evening in honor of the 11th anniversary of Luxury magazine, held in the building of the Romanian parliament in Bucharest.
On 19-20 October Nicolae attended at International Autism Conference Bucharest IACB.
On 5th October Nicolae and Alina-Maria attende at the exhibition "Mircea Roman - Fatuitorul de suflete" in Bucharest.

The recently married couple arrived in Alba Iulia on Friday, November 30th, and enjoyed the sympathy of the people in the events. During the December 1st parade, Prince Nicolae wore a military-inspired outfit, similar to that used by his great- great-grandfather, King Ferdinand. On the other hand, Nicolae's wife, Alina-Maria, came dressed in a tailored coat with Romanian traditional motifs.

Alina Maria and Nicolae al Romaniei attended the National Day in Alba Iulia during the centenary centenary celebration.

The Centenary was celebrated in Paris in a ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe, at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Romanian and Moldovan celebrated one hundred years of the Great Union. The wreath laying ceremony was started with flowers from Nicolae al Romaniei.

On November 30th in Alba Iulia, in front of the Coronation Cathedral along with officials and the Eminence Irineu, wreaths were laid at King Ferdinand I and Queen Mary's Statues, then in Tricolor Square Nicolae and Alina Maria participated in the hoist of the National Flag of Romania, then on unveiling the bust of Gheorghe Flondor at the Unirii Hall.

On Saturday, December 1, Nicolae and Alina Maria took part in the Te Deum service officiated by His Beatitude Daniel, at the Orthodox Cathedral of Coronation. His Beatitude Daniel was accompanied by His Beatitude Theophilus III of Jerusalem.
In the Unirii Hall they participated in the reading of the "Resolution of the National Assembly of Alba Iulia". In the afternoon, in the Presence of President Klaus Iohannis Nicolae and Alina Maria attended the inauguration of the Union Bridge and the Monument of the Great Union, and then were present in the official platform at the Military Ceremony - the deployment of troops and military equipment.

According to the press, Margareta told to the foreign royals not to attend at the wedding of Nicolae and Alina-Maria, because it was not a real royal wedding. So I think it is no wonder, that Nicolae and Alina-Maria are not very keen to take contact to Margareta and the other members of the royal family.

This year, on the occasion of the celebration of St. Nicholas, Nicolae al Romaniei and his wife, Alina-Maria, wished to visit the Little People Association, the Oncological Institute and the Fundeni Clinical Institute.
With the help of Humanitas publishing house, 80 children received books, hugs and good thoughts. Nicolae and Alina spent a few hours among the children, listening to the little ones talking about what they want and about their dreams.
The magic of Saint Nicholas put a few smiles on their faces.

Statue of Queen Maria in the UK
Alina-Maria and Nicolae al Romaniei attended at the unveiling of the statue of Queen Maria in Ashford. The event was attended by HRH Princess Elena, President of the Romanian Cultural Institute Liliana Ţuroiu, Romanian Ambassador to London Dan Mihalache, Ashford City Mayor Jessamy Blanford and other local British officials.

The event took place in the Reception Hall of the Parliament Palace and was organized by the Magna Foundation Laude-Reut with the support of the Chamber of Deputies, the Embassy of Israel in Romania and the City Hall of Sector 3 in direct broadcast by the Television Romana on the channels of TVR, TVR3, TVR Moldova and TVR International.
