King Michael's Younger Daughters: Elena, Irina, Sofia & Maria

Flux 24 has written quite a lot of articles in the last year dedicated to the King's Family.

Is not Flux24 more of a gossip site?

It cannot be denied that Princess Maria and Dan Duda know one another.

However, if they are in a relationship and plan to marry, that would have to be one of the best kept secrets in some time.

Nobody found out about the case of the King's grandson until it was announced without details. The Family seems to be quite good in keeping secrets. This does not mean that this story about princess Maria is exactly as this site describes it.

That would be interesting. Imagine that the other Hohenzollern-Duda alliance bears fruit. Would the first Hohenzollern-Duda couple manipulate the succession, so that the child of Radu Duda's brother and Princess Margareta's sister will be Heir? You never know, fantasy enough in the Romanian succession...

If this story is real as described by that site you should not forget Mr Dan Duda has two sons.
Anyhow I am still very doubtful about this story even if the televisions started to speak about it today too. Such a marriage would certainly not help to the popularity of the two Princesses.

If this story were true (I am very doubtful about it without further proofs) some could suggest the two young descendants of Mr Dan Duda could inherit parts of the royal properties. At the moment everything seem to be a sort of speculation of the press though. If it were true such a story could damage even further the relationship of Elisabeta Palace not only with the monarchists but with many other Romanians.

Who could suggest that?

Based on all commentary here about how inheritance laws operate in Romania, such an happening would be totally contrary to convention.

Plus, as you mention, all coverage of this purported romance is complete conjecture by the press: there are no photos of the "couple" in question, the princess has never made a comment about being involved with anyone, Dr Duda's sons still seem to be going to school in the U.S., Dr Duda himself still lists his residence as Boston on social media, etc.

Maybe it has been a slow news week.

I would certainly not know the truth about this story. What I know is Dr. Dan Duda is very respected in the medical science field in the USA. I ignore if he is in Bucharest or not at the moment and I did not heard about his presumed divorce. His two sons represent the younger generation of the Duda family.
Let's hope this story is just a supposition without facts. Otherwise the popularity of the King's Family could suffer.

The only ones who will suffer from this silly story is the investigative credence of Romanian reporters. What a pointless, baseless story to conjure up.

Flux 24 speaks about a supposed relationship between Princess Maria and Dr. Dan Duda (divorced and father of two sons), Princess Margaret's brother in law. Such a marriage would not probably be accepted by the Orthodox Church :

EXCLUSIV/ Love story ȘOC la Casa Regală: Fratele lui Radu Duda și sora Principesei Margareta/ Căsătoria celor doi este CONTRARĂ CANOANELOR Bisericii Ortodoxe

Those who started spreading this story of made-up gossip should indeed apologize, and refrain from making unsubstantiated claims and spreading rumours that have no factual basis.

"Princes and Princesses can paint too

Royals can be creative—that’s the message behind Convergence, a new show at the Ritz Carlton DIFC in Dubai (29-30 November) which will feature works by 15 of the “world’s sovereign artists” including HE Sheikh Dr Hassan bin Mohammed bin Ali Al Thani of Qatar, HRH Princess Sibylle of Prussia, and HRH The Princess Sophie from Romania (the latter takes photographs of the natural world). The organisation behind the show, Royal Bridges, was founded by Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, a member of the Bahraini royal family. He says (rather regally): “Royal Bridges steps in to fill in the gap and contend the stereotype of royal patronage with the dearth of artistic talent, which is often associated with ruling houses.” Christie’s will auction the works, with proceeds going towards the World Food Programme.
