I think in Switserland King Michael and Queen Anne have more Medical Services and are incognito..

Well, after all it was the very same free country that in eight year from 1989 to 1997 allowed him to visit the country only two times and for a very limited periods and that only in 1997 restored him his citizenship and allowed him so stay.
Not exactly nice welcome signals too...
 
Maybe he wanted the people to know and focus on Margarita. Just a thought.
 
With the decision of the beginning of August King Michael practically closed his chances to ever become King of Romania again.
 
How' s the Queen's health? In the last year I suppose she was quite frail.
 
Queen Anne has been ill for some years.

Hopefully as many of her children and grandchildren are able to visit.

The fact that three of the five Princesses have been in Switzerland in the last three weeks is perhaps telling.
 
We have to pray more for the Queen's health.

We'd better pray more for the Queen whose health is not really at the best level

Certainly prayers always help.

The 25th of October is also the Feast of the Romanian Army because the city of Carei was freed by the Royal Army on this day as an homage to the Sovereign.

We have to pray for the Queen these days.

Her health has sadly not been at the best level for some years...
Perhaps are you trying to tell us that the Queen's health has much worsened recently?
 
This would seem to be the case.

Perhaps due to reasons of discretion, Cory sometimes posts with content that is rather vague, but does refer to events that are currently taking place.

I hope the best for the Queen and for her husband, the King. They have been together for so long. It would be a heavy blow to the family if she were to be gone.
 
Afraid so. The frequent visits of the daughters in Switzerland and the absence of the Queen of all pictures only promising not.
 
Thanks, LadyFinn. I find this statement very moving on several levels. It really brings home the immense responsibility that the King had to shoulder at an age when many of us in Europe nowadays are relatively carefree and, in many ways, still growing up. At this time of year, when we remember the fallen from conflicts past, it also underlines how much has been sacrificed by successive generations. I also thought of those thousand young people the 'authorities' threatened to kill if the King wouldn't abdicate. As Romania mourns nearly 50 young people who died in the tragic fire in Bucharest, the King is well-placed to reflect on the power (and the responsibility) of the young to ensure a better society.
 
Direct reference to the young people for the Romania where they want and indirect referencefor for the Monarchy saying that the crown is here 150 years and he is part of most of them. Clever.

This is a genuine and moving reflection made by a man who was King at an age where most of us have barely started our lives. A man who was King when Europe faced its darkest days, and in his own words, experienced that those who sometimes disappoint you most, are not your enemies, but your friends.

The King words very wisely the mood and sentiment growing in Romania, and without using the specific words some might think is so important, makes it clear that the Crown is here to serve, in whatever capacity the Romanian people wants it to.

That's all he needs to say at this time, and he said it elegantly, gracefully and with the gravitas only a man of great reflection, humility and compassion can convincingly express.

Elisabeta Palace answered the accusations of the journalist Roxana Iordache about the real situation of the King (Mrs Iordache wrote the Messages of the King did not belong to him anymore):

The relations between Elisabeta Palace and some of the very well known royalists seem to be quite odd at the moment.The royalist journalist roxana Iordache said the King would have been "isolated" and in case of a trial between her and the King's Family she would ask the presence of the King at the trial:

After the events of august believe that many royalists in deference to the King no further commented remove the title by Nicolae. As time goes by it seems not true anymore.

Why suddenly the journalist turned against the royal family?
Very seriously what she said. Probably believes like many others that another decides (who really?) for the future of the dynasty.

The royalist journalist has been very close to the royalist circles since 1989.
 
The journalist Iordache has not so much turned against the Royal Family as she has covertly criticized the persons who she believes to not be acting in the best interest of the Royal Family.

Some people have been wondering for awhile whether His Majesty was actually the author of the many communiqués that are issued in his name.

It will be interesting to see what happens if the lawyer for Elisabeta Palace actually takes the journalist to court.
 
Many seem to believe that Prince Radu is manipulating his Father-in-law of late. Certainly he seems to me to be the 'Eminence grise' behind these detrimental actions 'by' the King.
 
There are people who believe the King has especially become more susceptible to being influenced by others ever since the health of Queen Anne, who perhaps possessed the stronger personality of the pair, started to deteriorate.

The Queen was known to be in favor of the King allowing their daughters, and thus their grandchildren, to have dynastic rights.

As early as the late 1980s, in the book Michel de Roumanie, le règne inachevé, King Michael alluded to his desire for his eldest daughter to succeed him followed by his grandson Nicholas. This makes the recent reversal of policy all the more difficult to comprehend.

Other royalists probably believe more or less the same things like Mrs Iordache even if not all of them would publicly express their doubts.

How can certain sites announce the death of the King? To say that the Sovereign died but the tomb was not ready so there was no announcement yet... it's really strange. Nobody would believe such a story!

Any news regarding the Queen's health?

He is de facto a former Monarh and the iure the Sovereign of Romania.

The King is in a clinic in Lausanne and his eldest daughter visit him. The other daughters will come tonee him these days too.
