The engagement was never officially dissolved. A few members mentioned it was over and some claim it isn't. Such situations are never announced as they are considered as private but known from friends and close people.

Normally, it is true that an engagement will never be officially announced. Nor do we learn then, logically, even if such engagement is dissolved for any reason again. But with HH Sheikh Hamdan, there were many rumors in the run. Surprisingly, it came at some point, the official statement on 12/23/2008 that he has become engaged to his cousin.

All have been waiting for the wedding (more than 2 years), but nothing happened. Normally a period of engagement is with us very shortly. An engagement period of more than 9 months is very unusual. Finally, there were just so many rumors again. The end was that he himself has announced that its engagement is broken. He claimed to have a very close relationship with his cousin. She was like a sister to him and he could not imagine marrying her.

That's what I know. But he will surely know best.

The personal pictures on it you can see on various photo pages in world wide web. For me, this is no proof that any real-life person behind it is hidden. And ... all people can also connected with the al Maktoums account on twitter.

shiekha shiekha's engagment was 4 years long, latifa's engagment was announced in 2007 and she got married 2009
and it ormal for engagments to be announced but disengagments or devorces are not announced.

i have a question about who raises sheikh mo's kids, for instance are all of the moroccan ladys kids live with her and raised by her, because i read on here somewhere that sheikh majid (lived with sheikha hind) and sheikha maryam were not raised by there mother and neither was shaikha manal, does anyone here have insight to this.

Sheikha Manal, Sheikha Maryam & Sheikha Latifa were raised by Sheikh Mohammeds sisters. Sheikh Majed is said to be raised by his mother who lives in Dubai. Sheikha Hind did not raise any of Sheikh Mohammed's children but it is said that they all the siblings are quite close to one another.

To what has been said is that Sheikh Mohammed was/is still married to Sheikh Majids mother and she lived in Dubai. As for the other wives/mothers of the girls, they were not living in Dubai & he had divorced them. Some say that Sheikha Manal's mother re-married.
