i think this is one issue in where no one of us can give certainty about. Mainly because no one of us hang out with this boyz to affirm or denied it.

Why move on? Self sencorship? Why? I reiterate, nearly all the Sheikhs drink. Rashid drinks & so what! How do I know? Because I know him personally & have drunk with him at his Villa in Al Manara. Why should it be surprising to learn on here what the rest of the world knows..? Many of the Sheiks also gamble.. Girls etc.. No need for names but you just have to visit some of the Casinos in London Paris or Monaco. No need even to go inside just look at the cars with important number plates parked directly outside... Why the silly naievety & sucking up? Say things as they really are that's all, pull the veil away from all the pretence.

My brother went to Rashid school and knew Maktoum and Marwan, and continues to socialise with them when he's not in the UK studying and sometimes he sees them in London. As was said before you're more likely to see them in London than you are in Dubai. He says Rashid drinks, in my brother's opinion significantly more than the other boys. Which may be one of the reasons he was not made Crown Prince ...
Also I agree with tommy1, it's not a secret these boys drink, gamble and have girls so let's not be sycophantic, it makes me nauseous.

it was a joke dear, the moderators doesnt like rummors or speculations; so probably they will erased the whole discussion, i personally find them (rummors, untold truth, speculation) very amusing and an entreteiment.
Unfoutunally i do not know either Hamdan or Rashid; but i do know that those boyz MAYBE (lol) are getting a very good FUN after all they have the money and power to do it so... im not naieve or silly at all

Well, we have no proof if someone really did go to school with so and so, or if they really are drinking buddies etc etc, so it's up to the readers of these posts to make up their own minds. Nothing has been said which is particularly shocking or even surprising. However, we will draw the line at less innocuous statements or claims made about the young Sheikhs and remove anything that could be defamatory.
That being said, it would be unrealistic and naive to believe that at least some of Sheikh Mohammed's sons don't get out and about and do things that other rich young men do when spending time in London, or even at home in Dubai. The name of the game is discretion, which applies to the young Sheikhs and to the people who know them.

He's been observed and reported on many times in the New York press drinking etc--all of them have. What's the big deal? I don't think they claim to be perfect--not that there's anything wrong with a drink or two!

Because most Americans have never heard of
Maktoums.
But yes, I agree they probably do drink and
are for sure not perfect. I must add that to
you a drink is no big deal but to Muslims it
is meant to be a BIG deal.
