What is their connection to the RF? I know they have the same surname, but I'm not sure of the connection.
There are several non-dynastic males whom are titled Bernadotte of Wisborg, but this thread mainly focuses on the ones from Mainau, the family of the late Count Lennart Bernadotte of Wisborg. Lennart was the son of Prince Wilhelm (son of King Gustav V) and Princess Maria (Grand Duchess Maria Pavlovna of Russia)robby86 said:What is their connection to the RF? Schloss Mainau is a major tourist attraction and many events are held on the island throughout the year. Here is the website.
The husband of Countess Catherina Bernadotte is fired as head of controlling of the island Mainau: Ehemann von Mainau-Gräfin verliert Job | suedkurier.de
He started in marketing in 2004, married 7/7/2007 . Also 2007 he was appointed to be the Controller.
Does anyone know how much the children of Lennart and Karin are in contact with the children of Lennart and Sonia?
Thank you!
Are there any chance of seeing this online after it has aired?Countess Bettina Bernadotte (Mainau) will talk about her attendance at Victoria´s wedding tonight at German TV-channel "SWR" at "Menschen der Woche".
Seventh, not sixth.Count Jan Bernadotte af Wisborg (70) will get married for the 6th (!) time. His future bride is Gunilla Stenfors (53).
He is the son 0f prince Lennart Bernadotte and his 1st wife Karin Nissvandt.
I suppose all these divorces are expensive, so no wonder that the count was in a scandal in 2006, when it became clear that he adopted a man in exchange for money:

He was indeed adopted by a German princess, Marie Augustine of Anhalt (the widow of Prince Joachim of Prussia, youngest son of Emperor Wilhelm II of Germany); but he didn't get any title, just (the male version of) her surname, so now he is Frederic Prinz von Anhalt, but Prinz von Anhalt is merely the surname.Wasn't Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband adopted as an adult by a German princess? That's how he has his title.
I put the list of all descendants of Count Lennart Bernadotte, recently updated by Hein Bruins:
