Countess Bettina, the heir

In the beginning of March 2004, Comtesse Bettina (now Countess), met the media at Mainau before her 30th birthday later that month. Her 30th birthday meant that she assumed to the title Countess.

Bettina's mother and the widow of Count Lennart, Countess Sonja, is today the President of the family company - Countess Bettina is the Presidential Secretary and the heir. One day she will take over the legacy after her father. From Fotomarktplatz.

Yesterday Countess Bettina gave birth to her and her husband's first child!

The baby, a son, was born at 7:55 AM in Konstanz, the closest city to Mainau.

The son will be named Emil Gustaf, and I take it Gustaf is after the boy's maternal grandfather, Count Lennart (named Gustaf Lennart, but used Lennart) who passed away last December. The baby is 51 cm tall and weighs 3 830 grams.

Wow, how great to see them finally! It's been a while now, but what a great time to see them together again - the tourists who are yet to see Mainau this year, or are going back, can be sure to have a magnificent experience ahead of them. It's such a beautiful island.

Schloss Mainau is a major tourist attraction and many events are held on the island throughout the year. Here is the website.
