From the interview of Dagmar von Arbin, the daughter of count Carl Bernadotte af Wisborg and baroness Marianne de Geer, which was published at Svensk Damtidning’s latest issue.

Although Dagmar is close to the royal family, she is relatively unknown. Dagmar says that she doesn't want to stand in the limelight and doesn't want someone to think that she is somehow extraordinary. Dagmar lives at retirement home close to the Drottningholm Palace, she moved there 25 years ago when her husband died.
Dagmar spent her childhood at Frötuna Gård. When Dagmar was 14 years old, she moved to Stockholm to study and boarded at her grandfather prince Oscar and grandmother Ebba Bernadotte. They were in their seventies, strictly religious and Dagmar had a strict life there.
- I wasn't let to do anything. It was sinful to go to the movies.
Dagmar's grandfather's brother was king Gustaf V. Dagmar was close to the king's father, prince Gustaf Adolf, although he was 10 years older. Gustaf Adolf came often to visit Dagmar when he was studying at the Uppsala University. They both loved hunting. Dagmar shoot her first hare when she was 13 years old and when the prince hunted for pheasants, Dagmar was allowed to follow him in the background.
- Prince Gustaf Adolf was very stiff, shy and correct like the officers used to be then. But we had good time and a lot of fun together and he could be open and happy with me, Dagmar tells.
Dagmar doesn't remember much about prince Gustaf Adolf's wedding in Koburg, where she was the bridesmaid. But she remembers that Gustaf Adolf and Sibylla spent time at her home Frötuna Gård before the wedding to get to know each other better. Dagmar about Gustaf Adolf and Sibylla: They were very much in love, but I didn't understand it then because I was so childish. We had a very good time together. They had a very happy marriage and it was so sad when he passed away.

Dagmar was 20 years old when she married naval officer Nils-Magnus von Arbin. They got five daughters. His career in the air force took the family to live in London. As a wife of an air attaché Dagmar had to organize representation dinners. She had a housekeeper and a butler.
- I hadn't so much to do, I was at cocktail parties all the time, it was boring, says Dagmar who loves to be out in the nature.
The society life was also very different to Dagmar's isolated youth.
- I was so afraid at first, I was so shy and childish even when I was married. English was tough before I learned to speak it. My husband was very outgoing and he had it easy to give speeches.
Dagmar has a little trouble with her hearing and eyesight but otherwise she is feeling well. She even drove a car herself still five years ago. Dagmar has of course been a guest at the royal weddings and baptisms.
Dagmar tells that Victoria is the closest to her of the royal children.
- I have a good contact with her. She is going to be a fantastic queen, just like her mother queen Silvia.
Dagmar says that she doesn't think about that she is the oldest in the family. So far she can hang around. She has a little trouble with the stairs and there is a lot of stairs at the Palaces.
Her 100th birthday on 10th April Dagmar celebrates with her family. She doesn't like that there is such a hoo-ha around her birthday.

Member of the royal family on the list of tax evaders

A member of the Swedish royal family, a countess and landowners who receive taxpayer-funded support - they all are on the list of wealthy Swedes who had hidden assets abroad.
SVT's Uppdrag granskning -program reveals in cooperation with SVT News a unique list of some of the Swedes who had untaxed assets abroad.
Marianne Bernadotte is the widow of esigner Sigvard Bernadotte, who lost his prince title in the 30's. She is not paid by the royal family, but counted as a member of the Swedish royal family. In 2012 she made a voluntary declaration to show that she had an untaxed assets of 44 million SEK placed abroad. When the reporter of Uppdrag granskning calls, she says that money is an inheritance she got.
- I know that I haven't had any incorrect or made any tax things. I know, because I have been careful so to say. But I should speak with my lawyer and hope that he can call, she says.
Marianne Bernadotte's lawyer Staffan Andersson is a known tax lawyer who often set sup for media with comments on his work, including in the case of declarations. But this time he didn't want to give any interview but left a short message via email "On the occasion of you searched for Marianne Bernadotte I may say that she has no more to say."

There are more people around the royal family who are on the list of Swedes who had hidden assets abroad.
Countess Alice Trolle-Wachtmeister was under 30 years Mistress of the Robes, the second highest officer of the court. She takes up a previously hidden fortune of five million. Also, her husband, Count Hans Gabriel Trolle- Wachtmeister, is on the list. He has had great sums untaxed assets abroad, while he his company received annually multi-million tax-funded EU aid. In a brief written response the Trolle-Wachtmeisters indicate that they had not thought of that wealth abroad would be taxed. And that now, after the voluntary notification, it is a closed case.
Financier Fredrik Gottlieb is described as one of the king close friends. In addition to the interest in hunting, they have also worked together in the international scout movement. Gottlieb has taken the opportunity to correct his declaration or six years back in time. In his case, it pops up a new fortune of 45 million. He would not comment the information to Uppdrag granskning.
Also Agneta Kreuger is a close friend of the royal couple. We have searched her several times with questions about the 100 million SEK that she previously had untaxed abroad. But we didn't get any answers.

Countess Sandra Bernadotte founded Café Vergissmeinnicht (Forget-me-not) in Mainau in 2010 and she explains in an interview how now the second Café has been started in Ingolstadt at Audi. Café Vergissmeinnicht is run by young people with special needs.

Countess Sandra, previously the Café Vergissmeinnicht, where we are sitting, was a worldwide unique place, now it is no longer that. What happened?
Two years ago my husband met Thomas Sigi, Member of the Board of Audi AG, Human Resources. He comes from nearby and knew the project Café Vergissmeinnicht of Mainau. It interested him, and he liked the idea, to realize such a project also at Audi. At Audi in Ingolstadt are 40 000 people, which was a challenge! With a small working group, we made it within a year, which was an intense work in Ingolstadt and also in Mainau.
What is the secret of success of this concept, so that it could now be transferred to another location?
First, I think that people realize how much passion there is and that the guests noted that this is a special place. We are transparent and explain: This is not a cafe like any other, it operates social and charitable, and who comes here directly supports young people who got a chance and can do something. This idea has not only convinced our visitors, it has convinced also Mr. Sigi.
You yourself are a social worker - what do you teach young people, what is important to you as you make them fit for the open labor market?
This really is very pragmatic. The fact that the young people come and they learn manners, because this is so important in this day and age. That they learn to be friendly. We greet always with a handshake. It is very important that such a thing is internalized. Or that, if you know the person, you speak with the name of him. This is very basic, but so important for life and for their future careers. We get feedback that our young people are the friendliest and most courteous.
Here, in Ingolstadt and soon even from many other places?
My dream is naturally that there are plenty of Café Vergissmeinnichts. The more cafes, the more young people can be taught in an employment relationship. I think a partnership with a global company such as Audi can contribute something. Then I'm a little proud, I freely admit. But in essence, it is important to me is that so many young people as possible get the chance to get a relationship with employment. That's the goal here on Mainau as well as in Ingolstadt, where every year get four youngsters a chance.

German Westwing Home & Living's Westwing Magazin has interviewed countess Sandra Bernadotte.
Sandra tells about Mainau Castle and the article lists why one should visit Mainau.
Sandra tells that there is over 100 rooms at the Mainau Castle and she got lost sometimes in the beginning. She loves the castle's classic style, which was very much done by Sonja Bernadotte. She brought also some of her own furniture when she moved, so it is a mix of modern and ancient. She and husband Björn have made some changes and renovated a little. She talks also about Café Vergissmeinnicht, which she founded about six years ago.

Bjorn? Not his half-brother Jan?

Mainau was owned by count Lennart Bernadotte until 1974 when he transferred it to the Lennart Bernadotte Foundation he founded. He wanted to ensure the survival of the Mainau castle and park by transferring the property to the ownership of the Lennart Bernadotte Foundation. Count Björn Bernadotte is the "Schlossherr" and lives with his wife countess Sandra at the Mainau Castle. Mainau is now the family business of Lennart's children from his second marriage with countess Sonja Bernadotte.

Foundation philosophy
The foundation purposes represent the consistent continuation of the objectives Count Lennart Bernadotte af Wisborg and Countess Sonja Bernadotte af Wisborg have set with their life's work. The Mainau island in Lake Constance is designed not only to experience the area, but also always the major societal challenges of our day. The centuries-old spiritual and cultural-historical heritage of the island of Mainau is run by the family Bernadotte at Castle Mainau with a sense of tradition and modern design joy in the future.
The members of the board of the Foundation are Professor Dr.-Ing. habil. Dagmar Schipanski (Chairman), Forestry Director aD Volkmar Theo Leutenegger (Deputy Chairman), Count Björn Bernadotte, Countess Bettina Bernadotte, Catherina Ruffing, Countess Bernadotte af Wisborg, Count Christian Bernadotte and Countess Diana Bernadotte.
