He has really loosened up around the cameras. I think the pics are really sweet.
 
Thanks for the lovely pics, a good start of the new year - only one thing could be better, an engagement!

I belive that Daniel is the kind of guy that doesn´t feel comfortable in expressing to much feelings in public, and those feelings have probably been strengthen by the fact that anything he and Victoria does is more or less public.

Now come on and get that engagement going, we (and they) can´t wait much longer now right? :flowers: :wacko:

Sometimes he looks quite handsome and charming to me.
 
Well the most stupid thing is judging of someone just because of "good" or "bad" look. I think if they'll marry and Victoria will become queen she will need not handsome man but someone who will be by her side all the time.

I'm happy to see nice photos of them together! Maybe they were tired of all the seperating-rumours in the tabloids? :rolleyes: Engagement-rumours seems much easier to bear...:lol: But my guess is that they won't get engaged before Victoria's 30th birthday. Maybe in autumn and then a wedding in spring 2008?
 
Well maybe Crown Princess Victoria does think is drop-dead-gorgeous as they say "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." Good saying.
 
maybe this was a test to gauge the public's reaction to Daniel and Victoria as a couple "officially" ? Who knows??

Don´t think, you are so blind :rolleyes: I think Victoria and Daniel can both look pretty ordinary and they have both quite unfortunate angles, that don´t photograph well. But if they make an effort and are in happy spirits (or are caught in a serious thoughtful moment) they can look really pretty. IMO the (in)famous ponytail doesn´t add much beautiful to Victorias features and the glasses make Daniels already small eyes even smaller looking. IMO he should think about an alternative for the glasses. But his smile is nice. If you look at the skiing daytime pics...tell me, what crown prince has a nicer smile? Daniel is the daydream of every dentist ;)

Book about Victoria and Daniel

German mag "7 Tage" writes that there will be a book published in April about Victoria and Daniel. The book will show their different backgrounds.
Did any of you hear about this? Maybe some of our Swedish posters? Is it true?

Yes its true. Buts Victoria and Daniel themself has nothing to do with the book
 
Nothing. Some weeks ago, they were spotted eating with friends at the restaurant "Lugnet" Somewhen these days they should or should have celebrate(d) their 5th anniversary as couple. I feel like highlighting "5" in bilious green and bold, but then surely one of you would come and would tell me, that they still have soooo much time and it´s said, one can even have triplets at 87 :rolleyes: :ROFLMAO: ;)
Daniel is still doing his Spinning course on Monday, Victoria is still in diplomacy course (maybe they both take a break this week, since there are no engagements for the Royal family listed) and Svensk Damtidning is still babbling about the signs for a soon wedding. Picture show:

It most likely is fake. I have not seen a picture of the Crown Princess wearing it. It is just a close up of a neck with a long hairdo in a different colour than Victoria's.

Just fake.

It is no fake. We have had two picture series of her wearing it. Court Marshall Elisabeth Tarras Wahlberg had even commented it.
And the diplomacy course does go until the beginning of June. They other participants are going to add an internship during the summer. Since Victoria is no employee of the ministry for foreign affairs, she high likely won´t participate...

It would be nice to see a baby pic of him. I´d guess he was a cute baby, maybe even with a lot of hair. Victoria was an cute one as well. So maybe this would mean a cute-cute baby :wacko: :lol:

I don´t think, he would become king one day. Even though I´d consider it as fairer than "prince consort". After all his (possible) mother-in-law became queen as well.
All suggested models, I´d personally rank like this:

1) Queen Victoria and Prince Consort Daniel (with a change to "Princess consort" for future spouses of male heirs)

2) Queen Victoria and King Daniel

3) Queen Victoria and Prince Consort Daniel (with no change for the spouses of male heirs)

4) Queen Victoria and Duke Daniel (Duke of Västergötland)

5) Queen Victoria and Herr/Mister Daniel Westling (so no title at all)

Number 3 is most likliest. Maybe with an additional ducal title.
1 and 2 would mean fundamental changes, I´d see hardly coming. But IMO it is the only logical consequence of equal primogeniture. But Royalty and logics...I´ve given it up :rolleyes: ;)
