Here are some additional pics of the Emerich Fund prize-giving ceremony yesterday:
The two pics with the shy and fascinated face expressions of the two young ladies on the right are my favourites

Thanks for the updates, Princess Luna and LadyFinn.
I'm glad Carl Philip has had increasingly visible role during Victoria's maternity leave, supporting his sister and the Crown.
Hopefully, that will continue once Victoria resumes her royal duties as well.
One question: is there such thing as paternity leave in Sweden? That is to say, is Prince Daniel, for instance, considered to be on leave now?

Yes, there is; it has to last at least two months.

About the parental leave in Sweden
Parental leave - SWEDEN.SE
Victoria and Daniel said before the birth of Estelle, that they want to take some parental leave with their child after the birth. Daniel has already had work engagements, and in the updated calendar he has more:
H.K.H. Prins Daniel - Sveriges Kungahus [NS4 version]
Carl Philip hasn´t done much during the maternity leave of Victoria, in fact what of his duties (except welcoming Charles and Camilla) could have been meant for Victoria to do?

Thanks, Biri and LadyFinn!
Paternity leave is pretty unusual (virtually non-existent) here, hence my question. I'm sure Prince Daniel enjoys every second with his wife and baby daughter.

As far as I could see, he was pretty active these days. Tasks like greeting the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, as well as acting as their hosts during the tour, would normally be upon the Crown Princely couple; it was my understanding Carl-Philip filled the position while they were on leave.

Sweden is the most Dad-friendly place on earth. Parental leave in Sweden allows parents to take a total of 480 days off their jobs (per child). This time can be used up until when the child starts school at age seven. Each parent must take at least 60 days off but the rest of the days can be split between the parents in any way they want. And..their employer has to have a job for them when they are ready to return to work. Perhaps not the same job they had before, but a comparable job.
C-P, no doubt, did everything he was asked to do.

If you consider attending 5 different events in a month as active, then yes, he was active. Looking at his calendar in March those are events he would have done anyways, even if Victoria & Daniel were not on maternity/paternity leave, maybe minus the greeting the UK delegation at airport part and accompaning them during their visit to hangar. If you look at his calendar he won't be fully working until the end of May, between now and Estelle's christening he has 2 planned events, even Daniel has more engagements during that period. I'm sorry but this is not something I consider as steping in for someone, he is simply finally doing his part of job which he should have done for the past years, but nothing more then that.

I thought that he had been finishing his education. Ever since he has been doing more. He needs to find his way.

Congratulations to Emma; she really does look radiant.
It's a shame it never worked out between her and Prince Carl Philip though; she would have made a wonderful Princess.

Prince Carl Phillip inaugurated exhibition for 100 birthday of Prince Bertil
On the end of speech he spoke about Count Carl Johan
Quote:
...
Before we do that, I would like to ask you to give some thoughts to Prince Bertil's brother Carl Johan Bernadotte - a person who also has meant a lot to our family and for me.
Carl Johan was, like his brother, also a warm and happy person and he has now left a big gap. I also appreciated him very much and will miss him and our pleasant conversation.
