But luckely for the Queen, it was empty. Queen Silvia of Sweden opening the exhibition "Earthenware" at the Nordic Museum in Stockholm. Queen Silvia attended the opening and visited the whole of the exhibition afterwards. Queen Silvia opens great earthenware exhibition A unique exhibition of earthenware (faience) objects from the countries around the Baltic Sea was opened at Stockholm's Nordiska Museeet (Nordic Museum) on Wednesday. Queen Silvia headed the opening ceremony and toured the entire exhibition, taking great interest in the many rare objects. The event was presented by Christina Mattsson, the manager of the museum. In the beginning of the 18th century there were about 40 ceramic factories in the Baltic countries, the oldest of them were Store Kongensgade in Denmark and Rörstrand in Sweden. Others were e.g. Eckernförde and Kiel Slesvig-Holstein and Herreböe in Norway and Stockelsdorf in Reval (Tallinn). Among the 140 objects are a large dish from Kunstindustrimuseet in Copenhagen, a centrepiece from Museum fur Kunst und Gewerbe in Hamburg and a rare piece from Rundales Pils Muzejs in Lettland. symbolizing earth and water. The exhibition will go further to Kadriorg Palace in Tallinn, Estland in 2004.

Kungsrallyt startade i samband med Carl XVI Gustafs 50-årsdag och gjorde det möjligt att genom donationer från svenska folket ge kungen en svensk bil, en Volvo PV 60 1946. I r gick rallyt på mellersta Öland där man besökte bland annat Ismantorps forngärd. På bilden ses kung Carl Gustaf och drottning Silvia.

Well, I know of a few of them. The dog in the picture above is probably Ali, (or Charlie as they later had to rename him after some controversy)
Victoria had a dog when she was little, a king spaniel(?) called Sissi.
Then the king has had some lab´s, the current one is called Dino I think...
and then there is princess Lilians dog Jambo aswell =)
