The translation of what the Queen said could perhaps have been better. Her concerns were very valid. Many of the assignments the two Princesses have been on involved people from parts of the world where vaccinations are not as common. Illnesses that we take for granted to be very rare due to all children being vaccinated are more common in other parts of the world. The two Princesses are not sitting in an office all day. They are out among people and have much higher degree of risk in being exposed. The Queen also said ...perhaps they could cut back a little on their travel...

Exposed to what? People? That's the point of being a royal.
The pregnant women I know do not only sit in open plan office space but are exposed to people all day, to germs or bacteria while working and commuting to work by train with thousands of other people. In their lunch break they do grocery shopping mingling with hundreds of people in supermarkets. They manage to work 8 hours per day until 4 weeks before giving birth to healthy children.
So yes, I feel the Queen's comments are very much out of touch.

Queen Silvia herself was on a state visit to Belgium in 15-18 March 1977 when she was pregnant, to Germany on 20-27 March 1979 when she was pregnant and and to Mexico on 17-23 January 1982 when she was pregnant.
These are only state visits, about Silvia's other travel is a little difficult to find information.

While Victoria and Daniel were on their trip to Peru and Colombia, Svensk Damtidning told that Victoria's adjutant had a hand sanitizer all the time in her bag/hand to give to Victoria and Daniel. The safety and health of the royals is very well taken care of at these kind of visits. The specialists and experts from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs check all the possible risks at these kind of trips months before the trip is made.

The king takes off from work and travels to Mexico on a private trip in eight days. The news was given by the Marshall of the Realm to the ministers at government's meeting today. Although Crown Princess Victoria is heavily pregnant, she jumps in as a substitute and takes over the king's duties.
The Ministry of Justice's protocol made after the meeting shows that Carl XVI Gustaf is in Mexico during the period January 23 to 31, and that he therefore is "unable to perform his duties as the Head of State". Crown Princess Victoria takes over as temporary regent and fulfills the tasks of the Head of State when he is away. And then it does not matter that she is heavily pregnant.
Margareta Thorgren stated earlier this week that there is no fixed end date for when she stops working before giving birth.
- The Crown Princess will work as far as possible to the birth, she told to Expressen's Johan T Lindwall.
Crown Princess Victoria has previously been standing in for the king as Head of State in connection with state visits abroad.
Expressen has sought Thorgren for a comment.

The queen doesn't have work events during that time either, so it seems that she will accompany the king on a trip to Mexico.

It seems that the queen isn't in Mexico with the king.

Queen Silvia was last Saturday in Essen, Germany. At the concert of the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela, conducted by Gustavo Dudamel.

Of course it is possible that the queen went later to Mexico, I just thought that they would have travelled together...

@Lady Finn - I don't see the need for the court to emphasize that Victoria will act as regent "while heavily pregnant". Pregnancy is not a disease and Victoria has been trained for this position since she was three, when the succession law changed in 1979. And if the heir is unable to act as regent - or when the day comes sovereign - who becomes regent? Carl Philip? If so, he would only have a fifteen year window for the regency to be open to him. When Estelle and Baby Bernadotte Westling no. 2 reach majority Carl Philip steps back to the no. 4 position (or 3, when Victoria takes the throne).

Queen Silvia's unknown millions
The king and his children are major owners of the stock market, with portfolios ranging in size from 10-55 million.
Hitherto unknown ownership information which Expressen's Dina Pengar has fund shows that even Queen Silvia has a completely own portfolio.
- We usually never comment on individual holdings, but the probability that the data is correct is quite large, says Jan Lindman from the court.
At last the record date, the end of December, the portfolio was worth just over 4.8 million SEK.
The portfolio consists of the renowned engineering company Sandvik, forestry and hygiene giant SCA, Wallenberg's Investor and billionaire Gustaf Douglas's investment company Latour. The fifth-known holding is Swedish business's most powerful man Fredrik Lundberg investment company that bears his name.
- Long-term investments in Swedish industry, it is that we tend to reason. It is the same philosophy as with the rest of the royal family when it comes to their financial investments, says Jan Lindman.

Svensk Damtidning has an there actuell cover information about holiday of the royal couple:
Nytt nummer ute nu – När kommer bebisen, mamma? | Svensk Damtidning

When and on which place?

As we already knew, the queen went to a concert in Essen in Germany, when the king flew to his fishing trip to Mexico. Svensk Damtidning's article just quotes the articles which has been at the press about the king's trip to Cabo San Lucas. And that the queen wasn't with him and Margareta Thorgren said that because the trips were private, they don't comment them. Svensk Damtidning writes that the queen likes to go to trips in the sun or skiing trips with her female friends, and she has also gone to see her grandchildren alone many times.
