I just came back from the wedding. It was one of the best days in my live. We had great weather, a beautiful couple and my Queen Silvia (defenetly the highlight of the day!!!)

Queen Silvia attended the celebration of the Manilla School´s
20 year’s anniversary in Stockholm, Sweden, May 25, 2009.
The Manilla School is a school for deaf and hard of hearing children.

Queen Silvia received a school class from the Angered School,
in Gothenburg at a ceremony at the Royal palace in Stockholm,
Sweden, May 26, 2009. The students had written a letter to
the Royal Palace asking to meet with Queen Silvia in connection
with their first school trip to Stockholm.

Beautiful pics of Queen Silvia! I have to say that it is very unusual for her to wear a sunglass in hair but I really love this. Seems as if she relaxed and that she has enjoyed the sunny weather yesterday.

municipality outside Stockholm on Tuesday June 2, 2009. Here
at Sabyhemmet, a home for elderly where they looked at some
instructions for physical therapy .

centre in Gothenburg, Sweden, June 3, 2009. The Agrenska centre
provides programs for children, teenagers and adults with disabilities,
their families and professionals supporting the family.

One June 2, during their visit to Salem (see at the previous
page) Queen Silvia and King Carl Gustaf also visited Rototest,
a company that manufactures advanced testing equipment

June 9, 2009. King Carl Gustav visited the coastal city to inaugurate
the Volvo Ocean Race.

Yesterday evening the royal couple attend the 100years celebration Vattenfall company in Stadshuset.

Queen Silvia is giving a long interview on German TV channel ARD tonight.
It's a 75-minutes 'Special' of the popular talk show 'Beckmann', pre-taped at Drottningholm Palace, and will be broadcast from 22.45 to 0.00 (10.45 pm to 12.00am) Central European Time.

Boris, thanks for the information about visit in Leipzig! For which Foundation was the charity concert?

On friday the king and queen attend the "JO-ämbetets 200-årsjubileum" in Stockholms stadshus.

Unfortunately I don't find pics from this event, too. Now, we don't see from two years-celebrations NO Pics (Vattenfall and JO-ämbetets)!
 
I really liked the interview with Beckmann and Silvia.
I´ve never seen a queen speaking so openly and privately about her life.
When she speaks about her mother and her brother Jörg it gets really touching.
And also a lot of funny moments. I was smiling when she spoke about her wedding:). She has a great kind of humor.
She is defenetly my favourite queen.
