That's great news!! it looks amazing, Spain is working really hard lately in changing their airports and train stations!!

Does anyone have a photo of the Queen inaugurating the ship "Oasis of the Seas"
of Royal Carribean Lines? I do not read Swedish so I may have mixed things up. Thank you.

What is the queen doing this week? Royalcourt don't mentioned official events of her!

Why don't she travel with the king to Espana, too?

That sounds strange - why would the Queen of Sweden inaugurate one of Royal Carribean Lines ships? They are not connected to Sweden as far as i know...

Queen Silvia doesn’t have anything to do with the baptism of the ‘Oasis of the seas”, but she and the King went on board of this cruiser when they visited a shipyard in Turku during their official visit to Finland in August.

Accompanied by The King, Queen Silvia opened the exhibition of paintings by 19th century romantic painter Caspar David Friedrich with quite an interesting, long speech in German and Swedish, which royalcourt published on the website:

She wore an elegant outfit of amethyst colored velvet jacket with interesting lapel detailing (a repeat) and dark grey-purple dress:

Queen Silvia is currently on a two-day trip to Washington in her function as President of Mentor International.
Among other high profile appointments, she had the meeting with Michelle Obama “to discuss opportunities to collaborate in their shared concerns for the positive health and development of young people”, to quote the website of the Mentor Foundation.

I believe he shot a moose (älg).

I am very sorry, but moving posts isn’t quite correct here:
Although Mentor International published details about Queen Silvia’s current trip to to Washington on their website, her high profile meetings in the capitol yesterday were held as Queen of Sweden and not only for ‘Mentor’.
Apart from meeting First Lady Michelle Obama yesterday, Silvia also met Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and members of US health organizations.
While her talks with Clinton focused on the ‘Mentor Columbia’ division and measures on drug prevention in this country, her talks with Obama were also about a possible collaboration of the First Lady with Queen Silvia’s own ‘World Childhood Foundation’.
Swedish newspaper Göteborgs-Posten has an article and interview about the whole US trip:

Thank you very much, ursulajohanna.
There are links to both official pictures - from Queen Silvia' meeting with Clinton and with The First Lady - on the right hand side of the article you posted.
