To me, the photos don't look that photoshopped, but I respect your opinion. Personally, I love the new photos of Carl Philip and Sofia. I like how Sofia is wearing a blue dress in a white setting. I much prefer these over the ones of Victoria and Daniel, the first one of them is OK but the second one is too cheesy for me.

I found it interesting that they released official photos of Carl Philip and Sofia, given the fact that they're still engaged. Is this something the SRF often does?

In royal blue a soon to be royal lady makes her debut in a royal role that she will have to do for the rest of her royal life. Sofia Hellqvist, who will marry Sweden’s Prince Carl Philip next year, has starred in her first official royal portraits.

The Swedish Royal Court has released three snaps of the happy couple who announced their engagement on June 27th 2014. Carl Philip and Sofia posed for photos then and several engagement portraits were released but these pictures are the first time the pair have starred in official images.

No, not before their weddings. But both Princesses have sued magazines for false information and I think also photos before. And with Sofias past (which is not bad, but simply not a usual past) and the increasing interest with the upcoming wedding, it's only natural that they engaged lawyers, just to be sure. I read the press release in german just minutes ago. It's just precausion.

Of course the court has sued german magazines especially because of Madeleine, since they have written false rumours through the years. This is different case now anyway and somehow ridiculous when you think about all the photos Sofia has posed for.

Perhaps the fact that the Bride has been filmed making out with a same sex porn star or was Miss Slitz might have something to do with it. Also, while the Pricesses may have sued for defamation, it is hard to do so when there is video on Youtube of Sofia making out with notorius porn star Jenna Jameson.

Swedish prince angry over press 'bullying' - The Local

Prince Carl Philip has lashed out at the media for suggesting that his bride to be was not welcome in the royal family.

In an interview on the TV4 chat show Hellenius corner the engaged prince said reports that his fiancée, Sofia Hellqvist, hadn't been embraced by his fellow royals were wide of the mark.

Since announcing his engagement in June the Swedish media has been full of stories suggesting that the former Paradise Hotel star Hellqvist wasn't made to feel at home in the royal family.

"Absolutely not, not at all. My parents and my sisters were curious about her, open, and welcomed her with a big hug," Carl Philip said in the televised interview with David Hellenius.

mmm I'm not so sure... the swedish press has always treated her with silky gloves, looking for her interviews, writing how wonderful she is and how much involved is in charity work... Yo can see that often they throw under the bus Madeleine and Chris for anything they do and because the do not feed the press... But as far as I know (local) press has always courted her

Now it seems there is some kind of censorship since the online mags won't publish any "nasty" comment on her...Writing bad things about other members is well accepted though.

It is totally ridiculous from Carl Philip to claim that the press has bullied Sofia. When they started dating, the press wrote about Sofia's past, and they wrote only the truth. It isn't bullying to write that the royal family didn't approve Sofia, that was just their interpretation. It isn't odd at all to claim that a family isn't delighted when their member is starting to date a former nude model and Paradise Hotel star, whose past has many unknown phases. The swedish press has the whole time handled Sofia with silk gloves. Svensk Damtidning has from the start adored her.
What the people write at the forums, is a different story. People have right to their opinions. If Carl Philip thinks that that is bullying, that is his opinion.

To give him credit I think he only commented on that matter because he was asked and maybe he expected to be addressed with these questions... He was participating in an interview... And it's pretty natural to defend the partner...
