Red is definitely one of Victoria's best colours, she looks great in it! Thanks for the pictures from London p_p, let's hope Victoria gets some serious shopping done while she's there!
This past Tuesday, Crown Princess Victoria attended The Friends of Nordiska Museet and Skansen’s Annual Meeting at Nordiska Museet on Royal Djurgården in Stockholm. Pictures from the museum's website.

This past Wednesday, 17 May, Crown Princess Victoria opened two exhibitions at Nordiska Museet in Stockholm. The two exhibitions are called “North meets South” (by trend oracle Li Edelkoort) and the other one “Summer Craft 2006”.
Pictures by Peter Segemark, from the museum's official website.

At the World Wildlife Fund’s Annual Meeting on Wednesday this past week, attended by the King, Crown Princess Victoria was elected into their Trust Committee.
- I have a great interest and involvement for the nature. As environment- and nature issues becomes more important, it's natural for me to support the WWF's important landscape protection around the world, says the Crown Princess in a press release.
King Carl XVI Gustaf has been chairman of the committee since the WWF launched in Sweden in 1971, and now also the heir to the throne takes a step to get more involved in their issues. The World Wildlife Fund's Trust Council consists of around 50 representatvies from organisations, business life and the sciences, and is to be a link between decision making individuals in the different sectors of the society.

This picture has been released by the WWF, accompanying the press release.

GrandDuchess, thanks for the information about opening the exhibition at Wednesday at Nordiska Museet.
I think the picture by WWF is on old pic - it was from 1st December 2005.

Victoria is glaming up a lot these days, isn't she?
The last week I've seen her wearing lots of dresses and skirts, she's very elegant and that black hat is incredibly chic:)

Thanks for those photos. Victoria looks really lovely, although I'm not too sure about the hat. Although she's still wearing the pony-tail, it doesn't look as bad and looks nice with her outfit.

Great photos purple platinum. I love Victoria's hat. She looks great:)
Maybe different shoes but she still looks great.
That's my old, good, elegant, graceful Victoria which I know and like so much.

I love her hat and scarf. Yes, I agree with you bbb, very stylish. :) What is the Artists' Friends? Is it a cooperative studio?

The Society of Friends of the Artists’ is an institution that was originally founded in 1937 with the help of Prince Eugen ("the painting prince"), whom actively supported it and was the society's chairman until his death. The society's purpose is to secure artists standard of living and comfort as people whom have been active in the art (artists) age, done via a fund which today holds a fortune of around 100 million SEK, and yearly award circa 2 million SEK.
The society's regulations says the following:
"awarded to Swedish male or female painters, sculptors, grahic artists or (drawing) artists who because of high age or illness have had their work capacity reduced and therefore are in need of economic support"
Their annual gathering is by tradition held every year in May at Prince Eugen's Waldemarsudde on Royal Djurgården in Stockholm. When the Prince was still alive and acted as the society's chairman, he was alway the meeting's personal host. After his death, both King Gustav VI Adolf, Queen Louise, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia have been protectors of the society and continued the tradition of having royal attendance at their annual meetings.
