In the movie we were/have oriented towards princess Victoria of Sweden. She´s simply enchanting, looks good and is popular. Besides I´m not really familiar with Royal houses...

I agree. I don't know about the rest of you, but I just love fashion. And if I was a Crown Princess it would be very hard not to get caught up in having the lastest designers clothes and shoes. CP Princess is certainly not the best dressed royal, but she is one of the most hard-working ones. And that is what is really important, especially to her country. Although, I still wish she would get some news clothes that suit her better and cut/highlight her hair.

14 timmars slit i salongerna för Victoria

BUDAPEST. Kostymherrar, vackra salonger och handskakningar.
Kronprinsesan Victoria jobbade hårt för att samla poäng åt Sverige under sin första dag i Ungern. Och hon lyckades bra.

Victoria rev ner applåder hos de smickrade ungrarna i presidentpalatset under sitt tal:
– Mamma och pappa har varit här tidigare. De har berättat för mig om detta vackra land, men att det var så oerhört fint hade jag inte trott.
– Jag önskar att jag kunde vara här längre och få se mer av ert vackra land, men jag får ta detta som en liten smakbit, sa hon. Victorias uppgift är att göra pr för svenskt näringsliv – och framför allt ska hon få ungrarna att köpa mer svensk mat.

Just nu går det bra för svensk livsmedelsexport. Och det kan säkert gå ännu bättre nu.

”Victoria, we love you”
Utanför presidentpalatset hade hundratals människor köat i timmar för att få se en liten skymt av kronprinsessan från Sverige. När Victoria uppenbarade sig skrek flera i folkmassan:
– Victoria, Victoria, we love you.

Tidigt i går morse drog programmet igång inne i centrala Budapest och vid sin sida hade kronprinsessan Victoria näringslivsminister Leif Pagrotsky.
Efter att ha invigt handelsdagarna bar det av till presidentpalatset i Budapest.
– Jag har aldrig varit med om något vackrare. Det är en fantastisk byggnad, sa Victoria om palatset.

Uppdrag: Sälja köttbullar
Under en halvtimme stod hon och skakade hand med näringslivs- och regeringstoppar från både Ungern och Sverige. Sedan var det dags för talet.
Tre klädbyten och en stor galamiddag senare var en över 14 timmar arbetsdag över för kronprinsessan.

I dag väntar ytterligare 16 timmars hårt arbete för Victoria med att få ungrarna att köpa ännu mer av köttbullar, matjesill och pepparkakor.

BUDAPEST. Victoria får toppbetyg av ministern.
- Hon är en enorm tillgång för Sverige, säger Leif Pagrotsky.

Victoria har det senaste året åkt världen runt och gjort pr för Sverige.
För bara ett par veckor sedan var hon och mamma Silvia i Grekland för att hjälpa fram de svenska idrottarna i handikapp-os.
Strax före var hon med föräldrarna på späckat statsbesök på Island.
Näringslivsminister Pagrotsky:
– Hon är ambitiös, går in för sin uppgift med stort allvar och gör ett seriöst intryck. Det är tre väldigt bra egenskaper.

”Gör ett kanonjobb”
Även i övriga Europa tycks Victoria imponera.
Trond Stensåsen, norsk kunga- och kändisredaktör, bevakar hennes uppdrag runtom i världen. Nu i Ungern.
– Hon arbetar mer än någon annan kunglighet, säger Stensåsen. Att hon dessutom gör ett kanonjobb gör inte saken sämre.

Victorias dagliga slit blir tv-dokumentär
BUDAPEST. Kronprinsessans liv kan bli dokumentär.
TV4-stjärnan Linda Nyberg är den första som fått följa Victoria dygnet runt.
– Jag hoppas det kan bli ett program med sidor tittarna aldrig tidigare sett, säger Linda.
Kronprinsessan Victoria har sedan i söndags varit i Budapest i Ungern.
Hon är här med svenska näringslivet för de ungersk-svenska handelsdagarna.
I släptåg har kronprinsessan haft tv-stjärnan och programledaren Linda Nyberg. Om allt går som det ska blir det i höst en stor dokumentär om Victoria i TV4.

Hovet positivt
– Jag hörde för ett tag av mig till kronprinsessans mentor Elisabeth Tarras-Wahlberg och frågade om det var möjligt, berättar Linda Nyberg.
I vanliga fall tackar hovet konsekvent nej till sådana förfrågningar, men i Linda Nybergs fall blev det ett positivt svar.
– Kronprinsessan var tydligen väldigt positiv till att låta mig följa henne, berättar Linda Nyberg.
I Budapest har Victoria haft ett mer späckat schema än någonsin.

Linda Nyberg följer kronprinsessans alla steg under hennes besök i Ungern. Meningen är att hon ska göra en dokumentär om Victoria.Arbetsdagarna har varit mellan 14 till 18 timmar och överallt har Linda Nyberg varit med sitt kamerateam.
– Det har varit oerhört intressant att se hur Victoria arbetar när hon är ute och representerar. Att hon bara orkar, det har varit ett sjukt högt tempo.

Victoria imponerar
Linda Nyberg är inte bara imponerad av Victoria som kronprinsessa – utan även som människa.
– Det lilla jag har lärt känna henne så verkar hon vara en sympatisk och varm person.
Linda Nyberg har nypremiär på sin tv-succé ”Helt ärligt” igen den tredje november.
– Jag ska där ha med en stor intervju med Victoria. Sen hoppas jag på att det blir en längre dokumentär senare i höst i TV4.

Medan kronprinsessan Victoria besöker Ungern går hennes pojkvän Daniel Westling kurser för att kunna bli hennes make.
När Aftonbladet träffade Victoria i Budapest
i går ville hon dock inte prata om det.
- Nu vill jag bara kommentera det jag gör här i Ungern, sa hon.

Kronprinsessan Victoria hade ett digert program i Ungern i går.
Det började tidigt med en kopp kaffe på berömda Café Gebeaud tillsammans med handelsminister Leif Pagrotsky. Sedan följde besök i parlamentet, sightseeing i Budapest och besök på en barnteater innan hon åter sammanstrålade med Leif Pagrotsky på invigningen av en utställning på Ludwig Museum.

Språkutbildning
Där, mellan talen, fick Aftonbladet en kort pratstund med kronprinsessan.
Victoria ville inte svara på vad för kurser det är som pojkvännen Daniel Westling, 31, går. Enligt Aftonbladets källor handlar det bland annat om språkutbildning där han pluggat engelska.
- Det där vill jag inte kommentera nu.
Syftet med kurserna är att Daniel Westling ska skolas in som Victorias make. Han ska helt enkelt duga åt den blivande statschefen.
Men när Aftonbladet frågar när förlovningen och sedan bröllopet ska ske svarar hon med ett leende:
- Ge upp.
Men kan inte kronprinsessan ge oss en liten vink?
- Tyvärr.

400 gäster i museet
I går kväll hölls en mottagning på Museum of Fine Art.
I de vackra salarna med målningar av bland annat Fransesco Maltese, Marco Liberi och Giovanni Buliverti hälsade kronprinsessan på samtliga de 400 inbjudna gästerna. I dag har kronprinsessan en ledig dag i Budapest för att uträtta privata ärenden.
Hovet vill inte avslöja vad hon ska göra.

A little plea:

Firstly before I start: I want to thank those great people, who post here swedish, norwegian...(whatever) articles. I remember the times, when I was a complete newbie on the internet. And then it was great, that users on message boards have posted articles and pictures from (foreign) newspapers (which I never would have found on my own). So it´s a great gift for the community to get those articles.

And now my plea: But (there´s always a little "but", isn´t it ) please also post an little explanation to the article. It´s not expected to translate the whole article (I´ve done from time to time-german to english and swedish to english-and I know that it takes a lot of time to do). But please write 1 or 2 sentences about it. For example to the new article in Expressen today:
"Journalist Linda Nyberg is allowed to follow Victoria´s work. A big documentary about Victoria is planned and will probably be broadcasted this fall on swedish channel TV4...She was impressed of Victoria and thinks that she´s a warm and likeable person..."

I hope posters don´t feel now angry or disappointed/sad (again: thank you, that you care for a lively Sweden-forum through your posts ). I just want to make it a little bit easier for the many posters, who aren´t familiar with the languages in the articles.

The painting they went to look at is "Minerva in her study" by Rembrandt - which has been the talk of the town ever since it came to Sweden in September. 46 million Dollar as starting price?! I wonder which people would pay that (well, it´s of course a lot more after the auction). It´s an strange idea, isn´t it. I mean you can only "scan" this picture with your eyes. And when you possess it, you can´t see more than ppl, who have seen it an exhibition, or who own a copy. I hope the painting won´t go to an private owner, who would keep it locked in his house. Then this sum would make even less sense.

Hangouts in Stockholm

I found pics of a few favorite hangout places of Victoria, Carl Philip and Madeleine.
Dennism you might to memorize these places and head to Sweden on the first flight out, that is if you are not in Sweden already. Who knows you might meet Victoria in one of these places and end up being the 'prince consort' or whatever her future husband's title.
Also, to any eligible girls in the forum, head out to these places to meet Carl Philip (a la Mary and Fred).

I´m moved to tears...the Victoria-paperdoll DOESN´T wear a ponytail, but it seems a bun and you can change the hairdo to "free hanging hair". And some of the outfits are neat...I really should send this link to the Royal court...I mean Nobel day is coming with rapid strides...and we all (who have watched Victoria´s style in 2004) fear a disaster.

Yes, nobel am approaching, Im hoping she is has already gotten herself a NEW grown up, elegant dress. I can just imagine Victoia, "Oh, its december and I dont have a dress!!! Hmmm why dont I just wear that incredible childish green lace dress I wore I Denmark and that made it look like I have no neck. Maybe I should also use the four button tiara, that would be original."

Im also fearing since ETW is no longer in the information department that she now has to much time on her hands, and decides to help Victoria find a dress for Nobel...I dont know who is going to help her find a dress IMO not ETW, not Daniel, not Madeleine and I dont want Victoria to dress like Silvia either....

Hoping she has contacted Lars Wahlin if she wants a swedish dress, and I dont think anyone would scream if she got herself an italian or american dress just ones.
