Victoria and Daniel met today at the Royal Palace Chief Economist Robert Bergqvist. So far no photos of the meeting at the court website.
 
Victoria and Daniel have today visited SVT (Sveriges Television) and it's TV-house in Gärdet and met Bolibompa-dragon. The visit was not at the calendar. Photos from court Facebook and website, Victoria tried also her skills as a weather forecaster

Svensk Damtidning tells that Victoria and Daniel visited the central newsroom and children's channel. The visit at children's channel resulted in a fun meeting with Bolibompa-dragon. Damtidning tells that Victoria and Daniel took the opportunity to take a selfie with the dragon to show Princess Estelle, who according to their information loves the green mascot! The couple was walking in the television house corridors with SVT's CEO Hanna Stjärne.

Crown princss Victoria and Prince Daniel visited SVT and mingled with Bolibompa-Dragon - and tested to be meteorologists.
- The purpose of the visit was to gain insight into the mission of SVT and visit various activities there. There were discussions on security, what happens in crises and how Swedish people are kept informed, says Margareta Thorgren.
They visited documentary editorial and newsroom where they followed the lunch broadcast at the studio. Crown princess Victoria teste how to be a meteorologist.
- They were shown how the greenscreen worked.
They were shown around by Hanna Stjärne, SVT's CEO, and visited the children editorial where they danced with Bolibompa-dragon.
- The Crown Princess couple got information on how to communicate and work with young audiences, also on the basis of educational training, how to reach tv-watchers and younger audiences, says Thorgren.

Here crown princess Victoria jumps in as TV weather forecaster on SVT.
During the day she and Prince Daniel visited the media house - and took the opportunity to take a selfie with Bolibompa-dragon.
Belike! Mother, crown princess Victoria, and father, Prince Daniel, took namely the right to take a selfie with the well-known figure from SVT's children's program when they were on a study visit to the media house. The photo which an SVT employee has taken shows how Victoria holds on the dragon and Daniel holds up his mobile - with a shell with Princess Estelle's photo - and snaps the photo.
- Both the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel thought it was great fun, and I think it is seen in the picture, says director of the press department, Margareta Thorgren about the meeting with Bolibompa-dragon.

How did Bolibompa-dragon feel about meeting with the Crown Princess?
- It was a precious moment for Bolibompa-dragon who always likes to meet new people.
Besides meeting Bolibompa-dragon and children's editorial the couple had a tour of SVT's news desk and documentary editorial office.
- The Crown Princess Couple were given presentations on the activities by SVT's CEO Hanna Stjärne and several other employees, says Thorgren.
The court has released photos of the visit. Besides meeting with the kids' TV-Dragon the images also show how the Crown Princess Couple are visiting one of SVT's news studios, where Victoria took the opportunity to pose in front of a weather screen, just like any TV meteorologist anywhere. Last year Victoria and Daniel visited Radio Sweden.
- The entire royal family wants to keep themselves informed about the different sectors and activities, even the media industry, says Thorgren.

The Crown Princess couple visited SVT - tested the meteorological profession
On Thursday SVT got fine visit in the form of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. On the schedule was a tour of the TV building, review of the public service remit and how SVT works. Selfies with kids' TV Dragon were also taken - and the Crown Princess couple tried to be the television meteorologists.
- It was an informative and enjoyable visit, says Margareta Thorgren.
After getting to know the big building and talk with ceo Hanna Stjärne and Anne Lagercrantz, director of news and sports division, they visited several editorial offices and departments.
- There were fun and interesting conversations. I felt that they were very interested and involved in what SVT does, and they had very good track of our selection, says Anne Lagercrantz.
There were visits to program control, newsroom, Studio 5 and a lunch broadcast by Swedish Television News with host Martina Nord. The Crown Princess took the opportunity to pose as host and in front of a weather display, at which SVT meteorologists present the weather daily. Even Prince Daniel got to test how a green screen works.
- The Crown Princess couple said that the visit was good, interesting and informative. And fun, says Thorgren.
They also visited the documentary editorial staff and had a chat with Bosse Lindquist, who talked about his acclaimed and award-winning documentary "Experimenten". In Studio 1 the couple met Johanna Gårdare, director of children's editorial staff, who told us about children supply.
The royal visit was formally concluded with a question and answer session at SVTI, responsible for SVT's production and development of digital services, platforms and features for the Web.
Before the couple left the TV building, they had also taken selfies with the Dragon in Bolibompa. A meeting that brought some attention at social media after the Royal House posted photos on Facebook and both Expressen and Aftonbladet wrote about SVT visit.
- But even if the images of the dragon and the weather are funny the visit was not about that, says Margareta Thorgren. It was all about getting information and a review of SVT's mission, and to see how the work is done.

Kronprinsessan delar ut Crafoordpriset i polyartrit

After the prize ceremony Victoria and Daniel attended at a dinner at the Grand Hôtel.

The Crafoord Prize in astronomy and mathematics, biosciences, geosciences or polyarthritis research is awarded in partnership between the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences and the Crafoord Foundation in Lund. The Academy is responsible for selecting the Crafoord Laureates. The prize sum of SEK 6 million makes the Crafoord Prize one of the world´s largest scientific prizes.
Anna-Greta and Holger Crafoord´s Fund was established in 1980 and the first prize was awarded in 1982.

Victoria and Daniel met yesterday at the Royal Palace girls who have cancer. Victoria had heard about the girls and that they make BuCancer bracelets, and wanted to do something for them. So Victoria and Daniel invited the girls to the Palace to meet them. Before meeting Victoria and Daniel, the girls were also shown the dinner preparations for this evening's Sweden dinner at Vita Havet.
The girls gave them BuCancer bracelets, for Daniel it was made in AIK colours, because they had heard that Daniel is an AIK fan.
Victoria and Daniel gave the girls necklaces with a crown.

Expressen writes about Victoria and Daniel meeting the Wernersson girls on Thursday.

In the Wernersson family outside Norrköping, hospital visits are everyday life. When Tuva, 9, was two years old, a brain tumor was discovered and life turned upside down. Five years later the tumor was back. Now she has done three treatments and countless hospital visits.
- She has a brain tumor that sits on optic nerve. She feels pretty well after the circumstances, but it has been said that she can count on more treatments when puberty is over. Tuva has been treated once a week during the last two treatments. She has gone on Thursdays and then been tired and feverish on the weekends but retrieved to Mondays and was able to go to school except when she was on treatment, says father Johan Wernersson.
On spring 2016 Tuva's big sister Emmy was also diagnosed with cancer. A soft tissue tumor that grows inside the body, from the neck and down the ribs and abdominal cavity.
- She will start with a treatment next week. It's hard because there are no medicines that are approved for children. It will be a test treatment, it will be special because we as parents have approved this treatment, says Johan Wernersson.
At the same time as cancer has become a part of the family's everyday life, big sister Tilde, 14, decided two years ago to make "Bu Cancer" bracelets to sell and support the Swedish Childhood Cancer Foundation's East district.
- We have an entrepreneur here in Östergötland who found out this and through him, the Crown Princess couple has got information about this, says Wernersson.
The family was contacted by the court and on Thursday it was time to meet crown princess Victoria and Prince Daniel.
- It was a special experience to meet them. They were nice and open and talked most with the children about their cancer process and their sister. What she thinks about this and her bracelet, what she wants to do in the future, says Johan Wernersson.
How is it to live with this?
- It's terrible. It's plaque and pain days. It's our everyday life, you get hardened in a strange way. It's our life and we have no choice. It's one day at a time.
According to Margareta Thorgren, the meeting between the family and the Crown Princess couple was a private gathering which Victoria and Daniel themselves chose to do for the Wernersson family.

Victoria and Daniel attended today at Friluftsfrämjandet's (Swedish Outdoor Association) 125th anniversary celebrations at Copper Tents in Haga Park. There was a seminar about "How do we create opportunities for children to gain access to movement and nature joy?"
The minister for the Environment Karolina Skog attended too. Victoria is the patron of The Swedish Outdoor Association's Skogsmulle and I Ur & Skur children's nature activities and The Swedish Outdoor Association is a partner of GEN-PEP.

After two hours of sitting at the seminar, it was time to get out and move around in Haga park, Skogsmulles obstacle course, a new concept that can be set up in any forest to stimulate movement outdoors.
Victoria and Daniel were both charged to the obstacle course and jumped and stamped to warm up. Then they embarked on the obstacle course.
First to finish. Crown Princess Victoria. She ended up throwing herself on the ground in a leafy heap.
When Prince Daniel finally came to finish, he acknowledged that he lost.

Royal premiere for Skogsmulle's obstacle course
According to the WHO recommendation, children should move for at least 60 minutes a day. Not even half of Swedish children on fifth grade get into it. And movement doesn't have to be complicated. For the sake of simplicity, the Outdoor Association has created Skogsmulle's obstacle course, which had today its premiere run by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, the Minister for Environment Karolina Skog and almost 200 preschool children.
- It was really fun, a wonderful way to play together outdoors, says Crown Princess Victoria.

Crown Princess Couple at Gothenburg Symphonic Choir's 100th Anniversary

On December 8th, TRH Crown Princess and Prince Daniel attend at the celebration of Gothenburg Symphonic Choir's 100th Anniversary. Gothenburg Symphony is of course with at the concert. There will be a big anniversary concert with a festive program where music from Mozart to Björn & Benny is performed.
The Crown Princess couple are warmly welcomed guests at the celebration in Gothenburg Concert Hall on December 8th, on the day 100 years after the choir's very first concert. At that time in 1917, the then Crown Prince couple, crown prince Gustaf Adolf and Crown Princess Margareta, honored the concert with their presence.

Victoria was added today at the calendar to attend at the opening of Ockelbo's new multisports hall on 25th January. Previosly it has been told in the press that Daniel would attend. Maybe they take even Estelle and Oscar with them to watch when their dad plays ice hockey with former swedish superstars:

Prince Daniel played ice hockey when he grew up in Ockelbo. And he does not mind paying back for what he experienced.
Not only is Prince Daniel participating at the inauguration of Ugglebo Arena on January 25th. Attending the inauguration match between his own team Team Generation Pep and Ockelbo HC, the prince has a whole bus filled with Olympic gold medalists, Stanley Cup winners and world champions.
- Prince Daniel continues to deliver. Time after time he shows what enormous commitment he feels for his hometown, says municipal commissioner Magnus Jonsson. He is pleased that the prince and world stars come to Ugglebo Arena to spread star glory over the family celebration that the opening ceremony is supposed to be.
In fact, it was the prince himself who threw the idea that he would "put together a bunch of people he knows" and play inaugural match to support little but hard-working Ockelbo HC, the engine in the building of the arena for hockey, inlines, archery and other sports.
- We met when Prince Daniel was in Ockelbo at Christmas and was skating with Princess Estelle last year. That's when he said he might have some acquaintances who would like to play inaugural match to give us some attention, says Stark.
Prince Daniel seems to have shared some thoughts and ideas with Bosse Stark, also a famous Ockelboprofile, who then went to his brother, hockey club's chairman.
Now Prince Daniel reveals that the acquaintances he pulled together to the match are some of the world's best ice hockey players ever, and other highly-rated players.
- You get shivers when you only think about it. Together they have won everything that is possible. The question is how often so many world stars meet to play a stunt match. It feels a bit historical, says Stark.

Victoria and Daniel attend today at the inauguration of Ockelbo's new multisports hall. There will be a hockey match between Ockelbo Hockey A-Team vs. Team Generation Pep, where Daniel plays with the former hockey superstars.
The event was sold out immediately, but there will be a big screen at the restaurant tent outside the hall. The arrangers of the event are Ockelbo Hockey Club, Ica Ugglebo och Ockelbo Municipality.

At the information to the media it is told that the doors to the hall will be opened at 16.00 and the players will warm up from 17.20. The inauguration starts at 18.00 and the match starts at 18.30.
Possible interview requests to Prince Daniel had to be done to information officer Ulrika Näsholm at the court.

In Generation Pep, an organization that works to make children and youngsters move more, the son from Ockelbo, Prince Daniel plays together with former big stars like Peter Forsberg, Mats Sundin and Markus Näslund. The legendary manager Anders "Pudding" Weiderstål coaches the team.
Crown Princess Victoria was in place at the VIP section during the match, together with children Estelle and Oscar.
Gefle Dagblad wrote that Prince Daniel was ill before the match, but he was on the ice during the warm up.
- I'm tired of warming up, it's going to be fun to see how much you can do, said the Prince in GD's broadcast from the match.
The Prince also looked forward to paying homage to his teammates, the former NHL stars, because they wanted to play during the evening.
- It's superb, our best hockey players ever.
Then he revealed that a certain drama occurred during the warming up.
- I was about to be crossed by an ice resurfacer here, we'll see how it goes now, laughed the prince before returning to the ice.
Peter Forsberg was a little worried about the shape.
- Before I was training with Sundin and the others the other day I had not been on the skates since last fall while playing with Icebreakers. So it will probably be noticed that you have not played much lately, he told ÖP.

This was quite an evening for Ockelbo. The match was shown live at the websites of many newspapers, you could see it if you are registered.

The newly built hockey hall as full when Prince Daniel at 18 o'clock inaugurated it with people from Ockelbo HC.
In the stands, Crown Princess Victoria was accompanied by the children Estelle and Oscar,, as supporters.
They witnessed an event where the prince participated in an allstar team together with former stars such as Peter Forsberg, Nicklas Lidström and Mats Sundin.
- I know many of them and they thought it was fun. They are very good girls and boys and it felt like hockey had given them so much so I think they are very generous to pay back. This is not the first time they set up. Maybe not everyone at the same time, but they are doing good things, he says.

- It differs but some times a year. I love coming here and I know a lot of people here and have my parents here. I feel really dearly to come here.

I admire Victoria so much. Her family seems to be one with so much love and fun and she is able to share that with the public yet maintain her privacy too. The kids are adorable and Daniel seems to be an upstanding person who appreciates what a fine person he has married. I am excited to see what kind of influential Queen she will be. I hope she will go down in history as someone who does great things for her country and the world.
