Queen Rania is presently in London. Anyone have any idea what the purpose of the visit is? Is she attending something in an official capacity?

How do you know she's in London?
She was in France a few days ago, so maybe she's taken a short break afterwards. I think her and Abdullah have a home in London.

As is reported, Abdullah II, King of Jordan, received the delegation led by first deputy defense minister of the Azerbaijan Republic, chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, colonel-general Necmeddin Sadigov, 11 October.

Question

It says on Petra that they both left for a 'special visit',I don't know if it's business or just a brake!

It's a private visit, I think it's more of a break.

Its a two-day visit. Here's the announcement from Petra:
http://www.petra.gov.jo/nepras/2006/Oct/11/222000.htm

must be nice to have a little private/family time during Ramadan. It does tend to get rather hectic, even for normal people.
