Jordan seems to be emerging as the lynchpin of Malta’s evolving Middle East policy. Foreign minister Nasar Joudeh will make an official visit to Malta before the end of the year with a possible State visit by King Abdullah and Queen Rania a key agenda item.

Thank´s Little star, they usually have any working or state visit during last months of year. I hope they will visit soon Belgium or Denmark.

Organizers of the World March for Peace and Nonviolence marked Hiroshima Day last week by launching roving celebrity billboards throughout midtown Manhattan

The billboards featured the faces of many of the national presidents, Hollywood actors, musicians, Nobel Laureates and religious leaders who have endorsed the World March to demonstrate their deep concern about the unprecedented nuclear threat facing the world today. These included Penelope Cruz, Viggo Mortensen, Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Carter, Lou Reed, Yoko Ono, Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan, Bryan Adams and many more.

He has just sacked many top ranking generals in the army so I wonder if something was going on. There are always rumours in Jordan but one thing is sure that he does not have anywhere near the support of King Hussein amongst the East Bankers or the army.

I am sure others can post the articles from the press but I heard from my cousin.
 
I think there might be some comment in the Western Press like The Times or The Washington Post. It has rattled Abdullah enough to 'force retirement' which is a euphemism for 'getting rid of'. I know there are lots of murmurings of discontent in Jordan about many things to do with Abdullah however, I know that on the form these can't be reported as fact as it is public opinion/open secret.

No the annual meeting was in January.
I think she is in Switherland attending a YGL event. I hope we can see pics as in 2006.

Usually she don´t travel outside Jordan during Ramadan.
