I just remembered reading somewhere that King Abdullah was an extra on an episode of Star Treck. Maybe he's looking to get into acting for a bit. hehe.
There´s a joke there about Arnold´s acting ability(or lack thereof) but I will not say it. I will be kind to Arnold. Okay. Well, here is a question for everybody then. Save the countries of the Maghreb and Egypt, Abdullah has visited what other African countries on official business? Just curious.

It's funny you called it Maghreb. I thought that only Arabs called it Maghreb.

I'm not sure. Well I guess he'd visit Algeria and Tunisia. I haven't read about him visiting any other African countries though.

I see. So not even a country like South Africa. Interesting. That´s too bad. I hope he and Rania will visit more of Africa in an official capacity in the future.

They may have visited a while back but I wouldn't know about it. I know that they haven't visited any other African countries during the past year.

The Maghreb is made up of Morocco. Tunisia and Algeria I think. I'm pretty sure.

I don't know about the relations between Australia and Jordan. I'm sure they have good relations though. I put a search for it through google and didn't find much.

Do you see a lot of Kangoroos in Australia? I'd love to go and visit someday.

King Abdullah attended the wedding of the Turkish PM's daugther on July 11.
It was a pretty high profile wedding but Rania wasn't there, I suppose it would've drawn too much attention to her present 'condition'

King Abdullah II of Jordan, 2nd left, accompanied by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, right, congratulates the newly married couple Berat Albayrak and Esra Erdogan during their wedding ceremony in Istanbul, Turkey, Sunday July 11, 2004. Leaders of Muslim and Christian countries mingled together at the wedding of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's daughter. Esra Erdogan married Berat Albayrak, the son of Turkish journalist Sadik Albayrak. Thousands of guests attended the ceremony, including Jordan's King Abdullah II, Pakistani President Gen. Pervez Musharraf, Greek Premier Costas Caramanlis and Romanian Prime Minister Adrian Nastase.
Thanks Humera for the pics... :flower:

I respect the bride for still covering herself even in her wedding day and despite the presence of the international guests...

Yes I know, but the weird thing is that a woman can not work in Turky if she's wearing a scarf and even in some universities too, my Turkish freinds told me that, Anyway that's a different subject!
Queen Rania must be really busy!!

Well Rania and Abdullah hosted a dinner for the Turkish PM and his wife and daughter last week, i suppose she delivered her congratulations then. I personally suspect that Rania didn't attend the wedding because she didnt want to draw too much attention to her pregnancy at such a high profile event. Ofcourse I could be wrong...

i like the new look of petra!!

but i don't think QR is preggars. this rumor has been going on for months now and she is not any bigger now than when the rumor started. also every subsequent pregnancy you get bigger faster so if she is preggars, i would expect her to blow up like a ballon.

(i'm not saying that in a mean 'fat vs. thin' way-just in a hormonal way.)

I don't understand how anyone can look at this picture and deem that Rania is pregnant in it. The picture is taken dead on, rather than a side profile in which some weight gain around the belly area might be more visible or noticeable. But this picture is taken dead on and you can't see much of anything. Is it that Rania has this criss-crossing belt wrapped around her waist and is distracting that make some people think she is covering up a pregnancy or something?

I have to admit I didnt know what to think after looking at Rania's pictures from today. I haven't been around pregnant women so I dont know if that large belt she's wearing can hide the weight gain. It has been almost two months since she went into 'hiding' so to speak but she still doesnt seem to have gained too much weight.

But she is heavier than she used to be, if the photos of C.P. Hamzah's wedding celebration are to be trusted. And most women can hide their pregnancies for the first trimester. So I think it's just too soon to know for certain, but there's at least a probability that she is pregnant.
