Mary's looks good, i like the color on her also good to see that chrisitian attended though he didnt know much of what was going on. ithink children always add a nice touch to the event even though its a formal one. Well it seems almost everyone change for the picture except for Victoria & Queen M.

They dont. The royals arrived on one of the marines ship. There are no royal ship in Sweden, but the King owns some private boats. Nothing at all like Dannebrogen or Norge though :)

Queen Silvia and Crown Princess Victoria both look great, I'm especially surprised by Victoria's outfit : I love it  Frederik and Victoria seem to have such a great relationship. Aww, I really love Vic, it was great when she, in the video, when posing in front of Fredensborg took her arm around joachim too make him be in the picture too.
Great that Mary was there! She looks very good. Hihi and Chris was so cute

exactly my thoughts! the swedish ladies, specially the crown princess, looked delightful. i simply loved victoria's outfit. the moment of victoria and joachim was also adorable. they seem to have a really close relationship.
so sweet to see christian there as well. he looked amazed by everything. so cute.

I loved the look on Frederick's face when on walking up the steps he must have seen Christian. Probably Christian wanted to look at the horses - even a prince does not see something like that too often. When queen Margrethe wanted to enter the palace and saw Christian blocking the door, she ccould be heard saying: Ah, Christian.
I guess Mary brought him because they made the official foto afterwards with her in it, so I guess she waited with him inside while Joachim got out to greet the guests. I liked the way Victoria took him so he, too, could be on the pictures. Seems like a close-knit family.

The dinner at Christiansborg is about to start now and the royal guests are arriving. Victoria escorted by Frederik; Victoria is wearing a nice dark pink dress - and the '6 button Jeep tiara' (as someone once called it).
QMII is wearing a orange/red outfit with a velvet like jacket and the Floral aigrette tiara (I think it is called). She looks really good.

Victoria is in red, there are pink ribbons on the shoulders and the waist of her gown. :)
Mary is not there. :(

Cant wait for the picture, sounds like a nice dress, red looks good on her. Sounds like a new gown. Well, there will be two more dinners or a concert so who knows, Mary might also show up at anything suddenly like showing up for the official photo

It is the Bragnza Tiara. I had always thought that i can only be worn in Sweden and not brought abroad. And the pink topaz necklace.

I must say the queens look beautiful. Q.Silvia looks very pretty, great choice of gown.
I also sew a picture of Victoria, she looks very pretty tonight. Im liking her red gown but im not too sure of the shoulder ribbons.

Mmm I don`t know whether to call it "grandmother" outfit but I do think she should have buttoned her coat up and wear some nice jewelry on it...and worn a darker colour, she is too pale for that soft pink IMHO.
Victoria thumbs up for the Mao - neck!
