Easter The Reigning Couple take up residency at Marselisborg Palace in Århus during Easter. Seeing that this is in no way official, but private, nothing is stated in this regard on the website of The Danish Monarchy. At the gates of the palace, it says that the garden is be closed to the public from March 27 till April 11 while HM The Queen resided in the palace. However, The Reigning Couple had an engagement in Copenhagen on March 30. I drove by the palace on April 1, and on this day, the royal standard was hoisted above the palace. During Easter, The Reigning Couple have no official engagements, but traditionally attend Easter services in the Cathedral of Århus as private persons, not as head-of-state and consort! April 2 HRH Princess Benedikte presents the Hans Christian Andersen Award in the Theatre of Odense at 19.00. April 5 HRH Princess Benedikte visits Malta on the occasion of The Royal Danish Ballet’s guest performance. Her Royal Highness does so in her capacity of patron of Ballettens Venner (i.e. ‘The Friends of Ballet’), and the visit will last until April 9.  May 9-11 State Visit from Sweden May 16 Crown Prince Frederik, along with Crown Princess Victoria, will be in Copenhagen at Langelinje Kaj, 196 to visit the ship Oden. The ship is Sweden's more commanding Icebreakers, and the most thoroughly modern ship to handle the ice in dangerous waters. May 26: Two Important Events:  1. A Royal Birthday: A Royal Birthday is today! His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik will turn 39 years old. 2. Celebrations on the Royal Yacht Danneborg, 12:45pm: To mark the 75th Anniversary of the Royal Yacht Dannebrog, the Crown Prince Couple along with Prince Christian and the Little Princess, will participate with Queen Margrethe and the Prince Consort to celebrate the Dannebrog's 75th year. Saturday May 26, is going to be a big day, so stay tuned for lots of photos and videos.  May 29 10am Queen Margrethe and the Prince Consort will visit Vordingborg Commune, with a stop at Stege. Finally, the Queen and the Prince Consort will attend the inaugration of the GeoCenter Møns Klint. May 30 11:40am Christian IX's Palace, Amalienborg, the Queen will receive the Foreign Minister of Mongolia. This will be a private audience between the two. Queen Margrethe and Prince Hendrik will celebrate their 40th Wedding Anniversary June 10 7:30pm Tivoli Concert Hall Honor Legat Gala Concert for the late Queen Ingrid of Denmark. September 2007 Danish Royal Calender The Reigning Couple: Sept. 3 10am Official audience at Christiansborg Slot. Sept. 6 In residence at Fredensborg Slot. Sept. 7 1pm Queen Margrethe modtager Estlands President til frokost at Fredensborg Slot Sept. 12-13 State visit from Brazil. 6pm The Reigning couple will meet with the Brazilian President and his wife, Marisa Leticia Lula da Silva at Fredensborg Slot. TRH Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary: Sept. 8 7pm Mary will attend the circus at Bellahøj. This event will be a gala performance which will benefit one of her many charities for Mental Health. Sept. 9 3:30pm Mary will attend a golf tournament which is being held at some golf club in Helsingør. Sept. 17-21 Mary and Frederik will be in the big apple, NYC, promoting Danish exports and other stuff. Isabella will tag along, but Prince Christian will remain at home in Denmark. HRH Prince Joachim: Sept. 4 11am Joachim will be in Århus visiting the Moesgaard Museum. Sept 12-16 Jochim will "...deltager i erhvervs- og kulturfremstød i Moskva den 12. – 16. september 2007."
