I know King Constantine gave Natalie her Olympic medal when she won; perhaps they are close because of their shared Olympic experiences.
Prince Constantijn of the Netherlands has King Constantine as one of his godfathers, so he was probably named after the king, too.

Summary of article in Billed Bladet #30, 2010.
Han er stor og dejlig - He is big and lovely.
Written by Anna Johannesen.
Where Princess Benedikte talks about her new grandson.
He was born on Saturday at 18.45 measuring 58 cm and weighing 3.700 grammes.
Benedikte said: "He is a big and lovely boy with blond hair and blue eyes. I'm happy that the birth went well and that Prince Richard and I have had yet another lovely grandchild (barnebarn). I've visited my daughter at the hospital several times and both she and the child are fine.
The wedding between Nathalie and her Alexander took place at Berleburg on the 27. May in what the Germans call a Standesamtliche Trauung, I.e. a civil wedding.
Nathalie and her husband plus baby now live at Berleburg Manor.
Nathalie is a Danish citizen, her Alexander Johannsmann is a German citizen, he kept his surname after their wedding.
According to the article it is speculated in Germany that the boy's name will be Konstantin.
It has not yet been decided when the christening will take place.

You mean she looked different and not as good as she normally does,
but well, you have to think of the fact that a birth is a very extreme,
painful and debilitating process. You can see it in many women in their
first days and weeks after a birth, besides that it's also not the best
shot from the photographic aspect

I think we have to understand that Nathalie had just delivered a child to the world, she's probably very tired, a birth it's a very painful and strong thing to endure. Let's just give her a break and wish her and her new family the absolute best.

I think Nathalie looked absolutely okay. She doesn't seem to wear make up and the quality of the picture is a bit odd.
Congratulations to the happy couple!

So the baby was born via caesarean or was it natural?

Lilibeth77, I think it's been a natural birth.
Billed-Bladet has the first official pics and an interview with the new
parents. A very tiny pic can be seen on the cover of this week's
issue.
