Regarding the matching flowers. I understand the royal advance team lets the people know ahead of time what colors the royals will be wearing and they can then have flowers that match the outfits.

Tomorrow Tuesday tha Danish Parliament will be opened after the summer holiday and as always the DRF are honoured guests.

The members of the DRF will arrive at the Parliament in introverted order of rank.
I.e. Princess Benedikte first. Then Joachim and our Marie. Frederik and Mary and finally the Regent Couple.
They will all be recieved at the bottom of the stairs and lining the first flight of stairs are the members of the Presidium of the Parliament with the highest ranking, the Chairman of the Parliament, first.
After being greeted the members of the DRF will gather at the first landing, repos or whatever you call it, halfway up the stairs.
When the Regent Couple have joined the rest of the family and they have greeted each other, they will all be escorted into the Parliament and to the gallery in which they will sit.
That also takes place in order of rank. The Chairman of the Parliament escorts QMII, second chairman escorts Prince Henrik and so on.

Traditionally the photographers will focus on the DRF during the Prime Minister's speech and the pictures where they look bored stiff or even better, sleeping, will be published.

I don't pretend to know anything about fashion but I know what I like.
Mary looked absolutely great. That's how you do it, Mary.

Our Marie looked lovely, delicate - with a gansta-chick touch, with that hat.

QMII looked... pinkish. Perhaps a tribute to the export of pork?

You mean of Frederik with his hands out of pockets?

- There is of course a perfectly rational explanation for seeing a perfect gentleman like Joachim with his hands in his pockets.
It's bet you see, between brothers.
I know from "sources" that Joachim prior to todays event said to Frederik: "I bet you can't keep your hands out of your pockets from the moment you leave your car to all of us walk inside". Being the sport he is, Frederik accepted the bet.
What we are seeing here in this picture is Joachim, being the jester he is, attempting to lure Frederik into putting his hands in his pockets and thus losing the bet.
And as you can tell from this picture: Se billederne: Folketingets åbning - sn.dk - Sjællands Nyheder - Danmark
Frederik is having withdrawel symptoms and that's why he is desperatly keeping his hands on his back.
