Thanks Iceflower for the pictures. Mary looks lovely. I think Frederik had to go for a darker tie, this makes it look too casual since Mary looks all dressed up.
Where did the dinner take place?

Was this dinner for any particular reason? I know they are due to visit Vietnam in November?

And as to your question: the dinner took place at Christiansborg,
the caption of the couple's pics didn't say so, but the agency also
had some of the Vietnamese Prime Minister himself arriving there.

Lumutqueen, the visit was an official visit from Vietnam to Denmark
in order to build a partnership for development. Besides other things
the two countries signed a financial agreement on a judicial partnership
programme worth Euro 18.7 million between the governments of Vietnam,
Denmark and Sweden.

Prime Minister Dung Visits Denmark - Embassy of Denmark, Vietnam

Vietnam’s Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung pays an official visit to Denmark 16-17 September 2009. The Prime Minister is accompanied by a large business delegation of around 90 Vietnamese business leaders visiting Denmark to create new commercial partnerships. The visit leads up to the Danish State Visit to Vietnam this November.

The CP-Couple will accompany the Regent Couple for a state visit to Vietnam from the 2-6 November.

I like the dress. She is still very tanned or uses tanning creme - I think it suits her pretty well. Princess Mary starts to add the "sexy" style to her outfits.

I wish that there were some more photos! I do enjoy seeing Frederik and Mary attending events together. Does anyone know if the dinner with the Prime Minister had a large guest list? The official website hasn't released anything yet.
