The close friends of the DRF, Nina Wedell-Wedellsborg and Peter Aandahl celebrated their silver anniversary Saturday and before going to the European Song Contest M&F dropped by to congratulate and share a toast.

The party took place at restaurant Nimbs in Tivoli and among the guests were also Joachim and our Marie, as well as Countess Alexandra. Her Martin couldn't come he was at a friend's birthday.
Apart from those, there were 150 other guests and they were as far as I can see one long list of friends of both M&F and J&M.
The party lasted to 03.00 where most of the guests left Tivoli together.

Now, observe and admire Joachim's attire, befitting a perfect gentleman. Notice especially his sash in the wild colors. Mark my words, there's a hippie inside Joachim just waiting to come out.

This was the day, Frederik attended Roskilde with Haakon (and according to MaggieDenmark, although Haakon and Frederik arrived together left separately) and also the night of the gala for the 200 anniversary of the Norwegian constitution)

PH and Frederik (as well as Joachim) are both members of the Copenhagener Shooting Society and as such they are fellow "shooting brothers".

The restaurant at Sølyst is located near the Riyal Shooting Range and it's here the shooting society practice their marksmansship, inbetween dinners that is.
The society shoot at targets on which (I understand) pictures of birds are painted. 2000 such targets now hang a Sølyst and since they represent some 250 years of art history a book has been written about the targets.
That book is dedicated to Prince Henrik for his birthday and it was Frederik who presented his dad with the first book.
He did so with the words: "I'm proud to present the book to you (informal you). You are both my father and my brother".

However, while the brothers had a merry time, PH's dachhound Rosina decided to explore the place and she ended up in the kitchen of the restaurant before she was finally apprehended.

Today the Queen and shortly after Prince Joachim, Princess Marie and the three princes Nikolai, Felix and little Henrik and appeared in Tivoli prior to repremieren at the ballet, 'The Steadfast Tin Soldier 'that the Queen has created the stage design for.

And Monday was the Crown Prince on the water, and he had a good feeling before the race.

Regatta was founded by Prince Henry, and he was even present in the water to witness his son's performance.
Maybe he was proud. In total, sailed seven races, and Crown Prince Frederik and the rest of the Danish team was today's winners. "

(looks like Henrik was inspired by Joachim's pants recently :whistling: and the gentleman on the left was certainly inspired by wearing royal pink just like Joachim:D:D, Frederik looking handsome as always :p)
 
Joachim's pants were colored, Polyesco, colored. Light red to be exact. :)

It's only natural that the gentlemen depicted here wear such pants, they naturally wish to imitate Joachim who, being the perfect gentleman, sets the standard for gentleman's attire. :cool:

Frederik on the other hand sets the standard for casual wear. ;)

It's doesn't matter how hard you wriggle and twist, Muhler, Joachim's pants are pink. :whistling:V-e-r-y p-i-n-k...;)

I thought it was only Polyesco who needed to eat more carrots in order to adjust her color vision...
I also thought women were better at distingushing between colors than men, because surely everyone will agree with me when comparing Joachim's refreshingly colored pants to say some of Frederik's blinding pink pants that Joachim's were light reddish.

QMII, Joachim and our Marie brought the three oldest children with them to Tivoli to see the Steadfast Tin Soldier, for which QMII had created the costumes.
The performance took place at the open air theatre Pantomimeteatret and it lasted a very child-friendly 32 minutes.
Alas a big adult sat right in front of Bette Henrik, so he moved to dad's lap and from here he sat and followed the ballet with open-mouthed interest, while dad explained what went on. Also Felix needed dad a few times to dicipher the moves by the dancers.
Being old and mature, Nikolai watched the show in a more cool and relaxed manner.

After the show QMII took bette Henrik by the hand and went backstage to meet the performers along with the rest of the family. Here a refreshment was served.
Then it was time so part. The children home to bed and QMII went to a restaurant also in Tivoli.
Marie said about the show on the way out: "It was fascinating and colorful and a very nice performance".

Some information on today's event. Sounds like a great event which is a mix of ballet and opera.

But Marie... the same dress again :whistling: I like "recycled" dresses but Marie ... recycled too much ...boring.
